Q: what is the height from the bottom of the pan to the top of the handle?

A: Diane, In an effort to try to answer your question I am going to provide two measurements. The first measures the pan as though it was hanging vertically. In this instance, the pan measures 20.8 inches from the top of the handle to the rim on the pan at the opposite end. However if you place the pan on the counter and want to know the depth of the pan from the base to the highest point of the curve of the handle, the depth measures 3.7 inches. I hope this helps. have used this particular style pan in 8" for 3 yrs, love it! it is now showing some age, just ordered another 8" - now also ordering the 12" for hubs.....they are long lasting, used on both gas and electric glass top, dont use extremely high heat on either, when cool rinse with warm soapy water and dry - I NEVER put mine in the dishwasher - dishwasher will turn stainless yellowish. LOVE these pans! like the way the bottom is FLAT, why its great on the glass top

Purchased this one after my trusty Calphalon pan had lost the non-stick surface and was regularly burning items. A week in so far of use, and I am loving it! I've cooked chicken, sauces, and sandwiches in it thus far, and all have been an ease to cook. The cleaning process couldn't be easier! Will be carefully following the suggested cleaning info listed to keep it nice looking.

We have had this for over a year now. We made sure it cooled down every time before cleaning it to prevent warping and cracking. I liked it up until last week. Unfortunately it has started cracking and flaking! Not having this issue with any of the other 4 pans (4 different brands) that I use just as much or even more than this one. It says it has a limited lifetime warranty so I’ll have to see if this is covered. Very disappointed in cuisinart.

Nonstick coating doesn’t last very long. It’s not particularly durable and develops pockmarks, even with handwashing. At this price point it should last longer than a few months

The frying pan was defective or poorly designed---cooking oil pooled at the edges, leaving none in the central part of the pan, so it is useless for saute.
