Cuisinart Coffee Center 12 Cup and Single-Serve Coffee Maker - SS-15

Haven't used the drip side yet but older coffee makers were fine. The single serve brewer makes pretty good coffee with pre-packaged capsules, still okay but less good with the DIY single serve. Single serve very practical as somehow we are drinking less coffee than previously, and we can still make a pot for company.

I'm replacing the exact same model as I had before. I used it for many years. The only issue I had was that the K-CUP water tank got a Crack in it and began leaking. It great for 1 cup during the week and a pot on the weekend.

I replaced a Cuisinart coffee maker and Keurig with this coffee center. I really like the convenience of just one appliance. No problems with it. The reviews about the pod side “spitting” coffee was resolved by removing the pod cup cleaning it and returning with the arrow pointing to the back.

My 3rd one over many years. Best on the market if you are looking for a 12 cup and K cup coffeemaker. Best feature they use separate water tanks.highly recommend!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

so easy to use fill , easier than having to pour water in each time you want coffee, I love the filters for water. Definitely happy with this purchase.we love it ! Will definitely recommend to others

Having the controls on the front of the machine is a big plus for us. It makes changes to settings easier to see. The k-cups need to be pushed down hard to snap in place. The documentation does not state this anywhere. If the k-cup is not snaped in correctly there will be coffee grounds everywhere. Fortunate for us, we found this information in another review. The k-cups are working fine with this approach. We would prefer to use paper filters instead of the mesh one, as it is easier to discard the filter and grounds than to wash out the mesh filter. However, the paper filter slides down and clog the holes for the coffee to drain into the carafe. The mesh filter works okay, just not our preferred choice.

The reason I only gave this a 4 is because the clock does not keep the right time. Other than that, it makes a delicious cup of coffee.

I love the coffee maker, Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the water fill is not the best feature on the main unit.

Super happy with our brewer/pod hybrid coffeemaker. This is our second one of this model. We wore the last one out after 5 years. Liked it so much we bought another one to replace it. Excellent machine for the price. Would buy it again.

Love this versatility. My last Cuisinart coffee maker lasted at least 15 years so I’m looking forward to this one as well. Love having the K-cup option.

Kind of hard to follow your directions but I finally got it. Ma chine works great but coffee could be a bit warmer.

Maker part - great … clock, not so much! If you are trying to use the clock for the auto brew function, it keeps on adding time every day, so rather frustrating.

Works perfect & the timer setting is awesome for waking up to a fresh pot every morning

We love the coffee maker. It's fast and makes great coffee. Thankfully it comes with a 3 year warranty. The control board has went out on two coffee makers so far. But they honor their warranty and has shipped new coffee makers both times.

It does what it is supposed to do. K-cup maker as well as the standard maker

I bought this particular coffeemaker based on the Cuisinart name and reputation, appearance and the capability to make both a pot or a single cup. After cleaning up a huge mess at least 4 times, we finally figured out that you have to completely snap the K-cup down hard into the nest until you hear it snap. Then you have to push the lid down hard until you hear it snap again. If you don't do this, the contents of the K-cup literally explodes inside the chamber and makes a huge mess. All other coffeemakers that I have used or seen, you just have to push down the lid and it punctures the cup and seats it in the nest all in one step. My husband recently passed away and we had a lot of company at the house. One by one as folks decided to make themselves a cup of coffee, if I wasn't right there to instruct them on the special use of this coffeemaker, they too had a mess. Something that should have been so simple turned out to create even more stress to an already hard couple of days. We also found out that you can't brew a pot of coffee at the same time that you are brewing a single cup, even tho they each have their own water supply. Whats the point of having the option of brewing both if you still can only brew one at a time?

Love the convenience of a pod maker but have the option to make a “pot” for larger servings

So far I’m really loving this coffee maker! Great for a pot of coffee for day long sipping or a quick cup of coffee on the go. I really like the adjustable burner temperature too. AND I was pleasantly surprised to find the individual fillable coffee pod inside. I had no idea that was included. Awesome!

Overall a decent coffee pot. It definitely keeps the coffee HOT when on high setting. We had to go for low. My biggest complaint is that access to the water reservoir for the pot side is extremely restrictive. It’s nearly impossible to pour in a full 12 cups with the carafe due to the lid and small area in which to pour. It’s a bit of a pain. I also wish you could turn the warmer back on without going through another brew cycle. The cup side seems to be working as intended.
