Mini-Prep® 2.6-Cup Food Processor

A replacement for previous mini-prep that I wore out after many years. While still wonderful, seems to be more plastic and less metal on this one. Hope it lasts nearly as long.

Cute and powerful little processor. It's perfect for a small batch of salsa and takes up very little space on my counter. Comes with a lot of recipes in the manual.

I would not recommend this product for several reasons. The blade is separate from the stem so the blade can be flipped to use the sharp side or the dull back of the blade. The part is so tiny it’s difficult to handle without getting a finger sliced on that blade. There should just be two offered so you don’t have to futz with the blades so much. We use it to grind the dog’s meds with treats so she’ll take the meds. It’s difficult to get all the pieces ground down enough. The lid is not a tight fit so dust escapes. That lid is finicky, if not lined up perfectly it won’t turn into the notch that allows the machine to run. I’m going to return this thing and just get a bullet again.

Noisy & leaked butdid the job

Melly - 5 months ago
Overall, Ive only used it once. At first I thought I had to take it back because unless you attach the lid EXACTLY the right way, it refuses to work. Once I figured this out, we didn't have a problem. We made salsa, I did notice it did leave some chunks of tomato unprocessed. But that was not a big deal to me. It also did leak. It was good, did the job, salsa was amazing, just noisy & it leaked.

Bought this to grind almonds and also Nilla Wafers for baking recipes. TERRIBLE. Grinds unevenly and then you are always left with several large chunks bouncing around that never process. But what's worse is that it blew griunds ALL OVER the place, it was just awful. I guess I'm going to have to bit the bullet and buy myself a full size, real deal food processor. This one I would not recommend.

Great size for chopping a small amount of food. It's small enough that it doesn't take up much space in my cabinet. It's powerful enough to chop veggies & nuts.
