[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blender works well but it does seem to struggle a bit when the sauce you're mixing is a bit thick, requiring adding water and repeated passes. This may be true of other hand benders as well.

Motor is too powerful for size of device. Flimsier than previous model.

This is so easy yo use and such a great product. It does it’s job!

To activate the motor, you must push the top "Unlock" button in order to activate the "On" button. This makes it very hard to actually activate the immersion blender in a pulse fashion. We returned it and went with a different brand.

I have no need for a hand blender. I'm getting too old to whisk eggs. It takes too long and my elbows and wrists hurt. Decided to buy this. It works well. I've used the whisk a couple of times while I've never used the blender. The only thing I'd change is having three speeds. With that, I might use it for more things.

The Smart Stick is powerful and easy to use. I received it for Christmas and have used it many times already. Can’t wait for hot pepper season so I can use my Smart Stick for blending peppers for hot sauce.

Bought this hand blender last year, after a few washes I noticed that water would stay inside the metal part and would go up to the motor. Cuisinart exchanged it for the same and 6 months later, I have the same issue. Gross and dangerous! They refused to reimburse me.

Convenient, attractive, effective. Just what I needed for a small kitchen where one appliance can do multiple things

Very sturdy very easy to use. Does a great job and takes up little drawer space.

Powerful. You have to get your timing down for the lock and go buttons, but after that, it’s a gem

I bought this to replace an old Cuisinart immersion blender that I had for 15 years before it broke. I took it out of the box, washed it, and then tried to use it. It wouldn't even turn on. This is a piece of junk. Now, not only was I not able to blend my soup, but I have to deal with trying to get it replaced. This is unacceptable.

I didn’t realize until after purchasing that the box had already been opened. Will be returning it ASAP

To turn on requires two hands, one to push the going to turn on and the other to push the go. Your third hand needs to hold the container. Oh, only have 2? Be ready for it to take off and splatter all over the kitchen!🫢

The motor of my old (10 years+) Cuisinart immersion blender gave out. I use it primarily for blending individual smoothies and for soups. I was shocked to discover this new version has a hard plastic blender shield in place of the metal one. I was also surprised by the need for a two-button power button instead of one. It's awkward to use, but hope it will become routine. So disappointed with these two changes. Of course, the device works well once you get used to the 2 buttons. I am sure there were reasons for the changes, but not great for the user experience. No other option.

My new beautiful blue hand held mixer is light weight and easy to use. If you want simple and easy to use, this is it. Only two type of blades, and wrap cord. My con is there isn’t a storage for the blades. You just have to hope you don’t lose them in the drawer:).

My 2-speed hand blender is perfect - it meets all my expectations and needs. I have always loved Cuisinart products and this adds to that admiration!
