Effective, let's me do stuff while drying my hair. I wish the arm that goes from the dryer to bonnet was longer so I don't have to hold the dryer on my lap or in my hand. Also, the bonnet doesn't have much grip around your head and can easily blow off unless you pretty much choke yourself with the neck strap. I combine it with a makeup headband to give the bonnet something to hold on to, and not leave a huge line going across my forehead. Otherwise, great product.

So easy! Once you get the hang of getting it going it is super easy. I have naturally curly hair and I use this to set my curls and speed up the air dry process. Has reduced frizz a ton. I apply product then use this on low heat while applying make up.

First off, I wasnt sure about this product since I'm used to a full size head dryer but this portable one is a life changer. This thing will be perfect on vacation. It's small, foldable and compact. It's easy to wear just slide on, cinch elastic band and snap chin strap. The attachment band fit over my blow dryer nozzle without issue and stayed on. Blow drying was easy and fairly comfortable. I mean, when esle can you recline getting your hair dried? Remember to always use on a low setting!

it worked for what I needed it for, I caution you however sitting on the back of your neck it gets very hot so make sure you cover your neck well.

Besides from my three year old saying "Mommy you look like an alien" atleast it actually dries my hair ! I have thick 4c hair that takes forever to dry and before whenever I wanted to do a braidout or twistout I would have to wait overnight even the next day before my hair would fully dry even using the hair dryer. With the hood on it's easier to dry my whole head and define my braidouts nicely.

I love this thing!!! I have a TON of hair so it takes me SIX HOURS to air dry it when I use rollers. I put this cap thingy on for about 2h and my hair was 90% dry... I mean that's quite a cut down on dry time if you ask me. AAAAND it's really cheap compared to other similar products.

I mean it! This is affordable and gets the job done. I didn't want to invest in a hooded dryer as I don't put much heat on my hair. I'm natural and most of my styles I let air dry or sleep on and may possibly need some light controlled heat from the blow dryer. While that works, sometimes you don't have all day to be fooling around with a blow dryer. This was just what I needed and works great for helping my deep conditioner penetrate my hair, as I'm a low porosity girl. No complaints on my end. A must have!

This worked perfectly for our needs. My teen daughter likes to have me color her hair in vibrant colors. On the color directions it is recommended to let the color set under a plastic cap with heat for at least 15 minutes or longer. Using just a blow dryer works okay, but I wanted something closer to the standing hoods they have at salons to distribute heat evenly without actually buying a piece of equipment that large. This fit the bill perfectly.

This product is amazing! I'm a curly hair girl and it's top notch. Stays in place, fits my bow dryer, chin strap is great....gives me hands free drying. I wish I had found this earlier....totally recommend this product.

It’s okay. I bought it to enhance my deep conditioning treatments. It does heat up, however, it doesn’t heat evenly. I use it on low heat as directed. The back part, where the tunnel connects to the hood, is where it’s the hottest. The front of the hood doesn’t feel too hot. I’ll probably end up rotating it halfway through use, so the front of my head can get some heat too.

So I have only used it 4 times, I like that it fully dries my hair. Makes me giggle k think of my grandmother's hair treatments when I was growing up. Firstly, I LOVE the carry bag and how lightweight it is. Making traveling with it an option, and makes it so helpful when rushing, not having all of your styling tools like at home. The bottom part that connects to a hair dryer has an elastic no-slip end that can fit many sizes of dryers, which makes it easy to take ANYWHERE!! The adjustable tie on the cap allows me hands free time, so I can multi task, and do things like my make up while it is running. The cap has an adjustable tie to accommodate any head size or even more curlers, which is great because I love trying different styles of curlers,and it has an elastic strap to button to keep in place. And, it allows me to be able to use it on my daughter who loves having her hair done but hates sitting still and not being able to do anything. I used this softwood hairdryer attachment in combination with the spiral Curlformers and I have to say, I’m obsessed even if I look a little funny wearing it! When I got the curlers in my hair I opened the cute zipper pouch it came in and put it over the curlformers and pulled the drawstring to secure it on my head. It’s super light weight and comfortable. Then I attached the end to my hair dryer and turned it on low heat and let the hairdryer and the Softhood work it’s magic. I have pretty thin and fine hair so it didn’t take but about 15 minutes to dry. I did turn the hairdryer to cool setting for about 5 minutes just to lock in the curls. When I took out the curlers I was pretty impressed with the results because my hair typically doesn’t hold curl. These curls stayed all day! This is so quality. My daughter loves wearing this to have her hair styled and dried! It works well to set curls and folds up nicely to store and doesn’t take a lot of room in my vanity.
