I apply it first to fresh washed hair that has been towel dried. the spay one day then the gel the next day for up to 4 days and im good. I'm a 3c to a 4. Curl Moisturizing Must-Have!

5 out of 5 stars
CurlyGirl4Ever 8 years ago
I have curly hair that is naturally very dry. So, the use of a daily moisturizer is key towards keeping my curls from drying and frizzing up horribly. And, the type of moisturizers that I am most drawn to are ones that are easy to use and apply and that don't have heavy oils or waxes in them. The mo...see moreof the reviewer's review

Curls Curls Curls!

My hair is natural and was very very dry. I had used Miss Jessies which made my hair crunchy. I love the Lavish Curls because it's not heavy and it smells nice. My curls are defined, they're not crunchy and my hair is soft. My hair loves to "drink" hair products but my hair has responded well to thi...see moreof the reviewer's review

I have two daughters who are both bi-racial (African American and white). They both have different hair. One has very tight curls I think 3b-c and the other has looser curls but has more wispies and frizz in her curls. I love to do their hair and have been searching for the right products to use for...see moreof the reviewer's review

I am going to try it again with the shea curl enhancing smoothie and see how that goes but as for this product it does not mois...see moreof the reviewer's review

Container ruins it for me

This product is OK, although I would not tout it as a great moisturizer. However, I think it makes a decent curl revitalizer, and has some ingredients that put it above plain old water for moisture. BUT, the sprayer is HATEFUL. It sprays in a stream, not a mist, which makes it very difficult to use....see moreof the reviewer's review

Pros - mostly non toxic ingredients, smells fantastic. Cons - has glycerin If you are looking for no silicones, then glycerin will have similar problems - weighing down hair, looking wet, feeling sticky. Also doesn't spray a mist, but a stream. Fix the nozzle people ! Will keep for those seriou...see moreof the reviewer's review

Not digging it - Sticky

I bought this because I wanted a daily moisturizer for my hair. I watched a lot of Youtube videos about water/glycerin combination but couldn't find any vegetable glycerin where I am. Since the first two ingredients were water and glycerin, I said why not. Man, it was just too sticky for me. It made...see moreof the reviewer's review
