No longer what it once was
Daisy and Elliot had the potential to be so cute and I’ve loved the entire series up to this point, but I can say I’m officially done after this one. It’s no longer a cutesy little series of friendships and love, its star signs, crystals, talk about the universe, paranormal trash. Really disappointed in the turn this series took.

Fake boyfriend, small town
“The Daisy Chain Flower Shop” is the next book in Laurie Gilmore’s Dream Harbour series. Daisy Scott is the current owner of her family’s flower shop. Elliot Parker is an architect specializing in historic renovation who recently moved to Dream Harbor. When Daisy’s ex-finance unexpectedly visits her shop, she quickly pulls in Elliot’s help as her fake boyfriend. They decide to continue their fake relationship to help Daisy fight a supposed curse to her flower shop and to help Elliot deter his mother’s concerns over his love life. What will it take to make their fake relationship become real? I thoroughly enjoyed this next story in the town of Dream Harbor. Both main characters have had problems in their pasts and I like that they take turns supporting and encouraging each other. I also like how this book looks into the history of the Daisy Chain Flower Shop, and Dream Harbor, and how it relates to the present day shop. We get glimpses of the lives of characters from the previous books and this is something that I enjoy very much. Each book stands alone and can be read in any order but they do build on each other. Readers will get the most enjoyment and understanding of Dream Harbor by reading the books in the order they were published. Anyone who likes fake dating tropes and romance should read this book. I wish to thank Harper 360 for the complimentary eARC of this book and for selecting me to review it on NetGalley. All opinions are my own. #TheDaisyChainFlowerShop #Harper360 #NetGalley #Romance #FakeDating #DreamHarbor
