The yogurt came out perfectly - much better than I expected. You do have to boil your milk and bring it down to 110 degrees, but that doesn't take much time and you know your yogurt will be incubated properly. I expected to have to drain off the whey since I like Greek yogurt, however, after 12 ...see moreof the reviewer's review

Yummy Yogurt!

I've owned this yogurt maker for a few months now & absolutely love it! I use organic whole milk (2 cups), 1 t. vanilla, & 1 small plain Greek yogurt (as my starter). I do not boil the milk! I warm the milk, vanilla & starter yogurt up to where it feels warm to the touch & then pour into the glass...see moreof the reviewer's review

When you get over 110 degrees the bacteria starts to die off. 100 - 110 is the ideal temp. So bummed!!! I have been making yogurt...see moreof the reviewer's review

Runs a little too warm

The base is a cheap plastic, but at least the jars are glass. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to return it. The temperature for culturing yogurt should be around 100-110 degrees, but when I checked the temperature a few hours in, it read between 115 and 120 degrees. I don't want to take a chance of...see moreof the reviewer's review

I bought two of these yogurt makers from a Target location....I bought one for myself and one for my sister in law. We are both very very disappointed with the quality of this machine. The base became extremely hot, and instead of making yogurt, it made something more like soup. I also tried callin...see moreof the reviewer's review
