Q: Can you use recipes for regular sized donuts and just make more or cut the recipe in half?

A: Hi Marilyn, Thank you for your question about the Dash Express Mini Donut Maker! You can absolutely modify your recipes to fit the size of these donuts. Please keep in mind that traditional donuts require deep frying, so you may need to add a smidge more oil to your recipe to get a good consistency. A: Hello! Thank you for your interest in Dash products, our easy to clean Non-Stick surface is made up of die cast aluminum plate with our PFOA-free PTFE nonstick coating. The Dash Express Mini Donut Maker does not have Prop65 materials.

Very easy to make. I use cake mix to make the donuts. It’s done in about 4 minutes. Top with frosting, confectionery or cinnamon sugar.

Got it as a Christmas gift. Didn't use it until recently but I really love it. The booklet with recipe ideas is perfect and makes it so much easier.The mini donuts come in a perfect size and are a great treat. I just love the fact, that they are baked and not fried.Don't know why it took me so long to use it.

I was skeptical but it is so easy to use and comes out perfect every time! And I love that there is practically no clean up. I recently started making chocolate chip, strawberries and cream, and apple cinnamon to see it will cook the same. It does. I love how easy it is to use.

It was a fun little gadget and makes homemade donuts easily accessible. I need to perfect the batter consistency and piping to make them better. However it does take a LOOONG time to make one batch. 7 donuts on the iron, and 4 iterations on the iron to make 28 donuts in one batch. In the end at 5 minutes per iteration that’s about 20 minutes of hands on cooking time. Just FYI. Fun for a small crowd but not good for a big one!
