Specifically designed for breastfed or partially breastfed infants, Baby Ddrops® provides the recommended 400 IU of vitamin D from the American Academy of Pediatrics in just one tasteless drop. Babies need vitamin D for healthy growth and bone development.* This liquid vitamin D can be dropped on mother’s breast before feeding , added to a bottle, or onto a clean surface, such as washed fingertip. A: Hi Jan, Both the Baby Ddrops 0.06 fl. oz. and the 0.08 fl. oz. are organic. We are transitioning to USDA organic certification. During our transition period, some retailers may still have our original packaging. Eventually all our retailers both online and in store, will have the USDA organic product and packaging. Q: Is there a trick to getting the drop out? It takes me forever

A: Hello, Thank you for choosing Baby Ddrops®. If you are having some difficulty with the drops, here are a couple of notes that should help better understand the product: • Store bottle upright, between 5°C and 30°C, or 40 °F and 85 °F. • Although the volume of liquid is small, the bottle actually contains 90 drops, most of the time it will contain more. • For slow drops: If your bottle is still quite new, you may have air trapped inside the bottle. If this happens, do not shake the bottle. Simply put the cap on and gently turn it upside down and right again a few times before use. • For slow drops: If your bottle is older, your bottle of Ddrops might be coming to an end. In the meantime, please be patient. It may be time to purchase a new bottle. • For fast drops, the bottle can be tilted slightly on an angle from vertical to slow the speed of the drop. The good: It was easy to give. Bad: My newborn had the worst spit up, and gas pain. She wasn’t able to sleep for hours in the middle of the night, every time she was put down she would cry. Spit up would happen no matter if she was burped. I stopped the drops and two days later no issues at all They definitely did not work for my LO but maybe they’ll work for some else.

Hello Myaeli, When you first open your bottle of Ddrops, it may look partially filled or almost empty. All of our products are filled with the number of doses listed on the bottle, box and insert. In fact, it will contain a few more doses than what is listed. We use standard size 10 or 15ml bottles for all our products. The bottles are not filled to the very top, so they will appear to be partially full. For example a 90 drop bottle will appear approximately a 1/3 full. The bottle size is for ease of use, safety and label readability. If the bottles were smaller, it would be difficult to administer. I hope this information is helpful. Erica | The Ddrops Team

My first was exclusively breastfed, I would drip this on my nipple, one drop a day, before he latched and he never knew. It got the job done and was easy. Keep it by your favorite feeding spot and it’s always there when you need it. (I have also read that lack of vitamin d in babies may contribute to peanut allergies, interesting!)
