I am on hrt, and my acne was becoming a bit overwhelming and even painful at times. Not to sound like a neutrogena commercial, but i’ve saw a change quicker than expected and am glad a friend recommended this to me.
I started using this wash when I got a bad flare up in acne. Usually my skin is really clear but sometimes due to hormones it can break out. I didn’t notice any results but I kept using ya anyways. Then I started to break out all the time literal constant acne and I was very confused. It wasn’t that my face was oily but it was very dry and I had acne. I tried to do all sorts of different things I changed moisturizers and tried eating different and nothing helped. Then my brother mentioned he won’t use this face wash because it makes him break out and I thought that was odd. What acne treatment gives you acne. So I decided to stop using it to see what would happen. Within a week my skin started to clear up. I don’t have sensitive skin at all so I don’t understand how it happened.
I wish could give a rating of 0. This product is horrible. I had small pimples on my skin and hence I thought to get rid of them before they increase and turn into servere acne I'll use an acne face wash. That's when I bought this product from Target. Upon reading good reviews like the one above I decided to buy this product and use it. I used it only for 2 days and now my skin has become extremely dry and rough and it burns and irritates me. Not only that I also have red rashes on my face. This product says dermatologist tested but I highly doubt it, this product is a scam by this company. Now I will have to go to a dermatologist to repair the damage done by this horrible product.
I grew up with several allergies, so I had to choose products that did not cause problems. I used Phisoderm for the longest time, as this used Salicylic Acid to cleanse pores. As times changed and the product was difficult to find, I used a number of name brand products, ending with Target's Up & Up brand.
This works just as well as the big brands in all ways.
I also use the Apricot Scrub (who scrubs apricots?) with Salicylic Acid weekly to decrease facial texture roughness. Both keep my face as clear as the big brands, which is 99.9% of the time.
