A: This one is a little bit more narrow than the $39.99 one. I chose the more expensive one since it holds approx 60 newborn diapers compared to this one, which says it holds 45 newborn diapers, since I had 2 kids I diapers at the same time. Other than size, they are the exact same and work the same way.
A: It's slightly larger, so it holds more diapers.
A: Hi Brittany--Our Classic sized Diaper Pail can be used for Cloth Diapers, but we recommend our Dékor Plus because it has the largest opening of any diaper pail on the market, and cloth diapers are larger than disposables. We also sell a reusable Cloth Diaper Liner that fits in the pail.
A: Hi Christy--Technically you can use regular trash bags, but Dékor's unique refill system makes emptying your diaper pail much easier. Trash bags cost money too, and putting them in and out of the diaper pail regularly would be a pain in the butt (pun intended!). You would end up wasting a bunch of the trash bag, so our refills save you money because there's no waste. You only use what you need since there are no preset bag sizes. Putting 60 Newborn diapers into a kitchen trash bag will waste more than 2/3 of every bag. With Dékor Refill liners – you only use what you need – there is no waste and replacing the bag is a snap. Our Refills are one LONG continuous liner so you simply pull from the bottom, cut off and tie and create another 'bag'.
A: All Dekor Pails comes with a full liner pre-installed so the pail is ready to use upon removal from the box.
A: Yes! The liner is a giant roll of plastic that you cut as you need it or you can use regular trash bags. I think the idea behind the liner roll is that it's thicker to contain the smell a little better.
A: Yes! It's wonderful.
