DENIZEN® from Levi's® Men's 10" Straight Fit Cargo Shorts

I've had these shorts for many years and loved them. I decided to buy a couple more this year and am pretty disappointed in the changes. The quality of the material is way cheaper, feels more thin and "plastic like" than cloth and has visible stitching. I also don't like the change in pockets from vertical to horizontal. I liked it better before because the shorts didn't look like typical boxy cargo dad shorts...not the case anymore. You can see the difference in my photos - on the left is the new version. I probably won't be buying anymore of these going forward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Denizen shorts are a great fit. The cargo design has a pocket on each leg with a button and zipper front closure. They are made well like I expect from Levi's products but the fabric is a little stiff even after several washes and they do wrinkle easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always loved Levi's shorts and jeans, and my husband loves cargo shorts, so a pair of khaki cargo shorts by Levi's seemed like an obviously perfect choice. These DENIZEN cargo shorts have all the pockets you might expect in cargo pants, and their quality seems to be the usual great Levi's quality. They are made of a slightly stretchy lightweight material that will feel wonderful and cool in the summer months. My husband says they fit well and are very comfortable to wear. The problem--for me, anyway--is that, while they might FEEL good, I don't think they LOOK that great on him. Now, maybe that's just an individual thing, but I feel like the straight fit of this design looks boxy and awkward. These shorts also wrinkle super easily. My husband will probably wear them anyway, but I will likely veto them for any occasion that requires a more deliberate and stylish look. I just think these shorts make him look like Steve Urkel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Denizen from Levi's Mens 10" Cargo shorts are really good shorts. The fabric is lighter than jeans. It's a very comfortable fabric. The two main pockets have a great depth. There is one cargo pocket on the side and one zipper pocket on the other side. The two back pockets are a little strange. They are folded over and sewn so it's not easy in/out. Probably to keep your wallet in place, however there are no buttons or snaps to make sure the wallet is firmly in place. My husband said they are very comfortable to wear.

Also lightweight fabric makes them very comfortable as a cargo short. Really good fishing/boat shorts. The are comfortable, go just below the knee which I like, and are very stylish. You can dress them up or down, but either way you’ll look and feel terrific. I recommend having these shorts be a permanent part of anyone’s wardrobe.

The material is lightweight and has stretch to it. I would definitely consider getting more colors of these for him to add to his wardrobe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Mens Levi’s 10-inch Denizen Cargo Shorts or my husband. He’s 6ft tall and 180lbs and the 34s for him perfectly. They are just the right length and made of good quality material. They are perfect for casual wear or professional wear, You could enjoy a game of golf and head to the lake for some fishing. The pockets are perfect for phone, wallet and keys. My husband likes them so much he wants them in more colors. I definitely recommend them.

The rip-stop style fabric is lightweight but seems durable and the pockets provide lots of room for my every-day-carry items. The thighs are a little slim for me and prevent rang of motion a bit and that is why I say they are good for casual occurrences, not when I need to be climbing in and out of things or being nimble. I am glad I have the one pair, but I probably won't buy another as I tend to be more active wherever I go.

They’re long, like he prefers, hitting just above the knee. The shorts are lightweight and breathable — perfect for the Florida humidity. While it’s not the traditional heavyweight material most cargo shorts are made of, they LOOK like they are, which he loves. So far they’ve held up well and they easily wash clean, without holding onto sweat or odors. They also come out of the dryer wrinkle-free, which is a nice perk that we both enjoy!
