With its understated industrial look the clean lined Dennis coffee table is the perfect piece to refresh a room. A transitional take on the rough wood movement, it is built to last from solid Elm and iron with NC Coating finish with Parson's style metal legs and frame. This sturdy but sophisticated piece stands up to kids in a living room or family room and can support up to fifteen lbs. The Dennis coffee table is an ideal choice for Contemporary, Rustic, or Transitional style interiors.
Aaaand now I know why this isn't sold in stores. This looks nothing at all like the photo - to the extent that I went back in to be sure this was the order. The top is painted a dreadful green-gray and does not look like wood as it does in the photo - it's just plain ugly and 1990's cottage-y and not at all modern or clean looking. This cheap little table drags my whole room down and will likely move out to my porch as a place for plants to sit in the spring. Garbage. Total garbage.
I like the build of the table. Easy to assemble, really pretty. However, the color is nothing like the photo! The wood was painted a nearly solid stone gray. If I had known that, I wouldn't have ordered it because I was looking for something with more of a raw wood look. It is a little wobbly too, but not bad.
Easiest piece of furniture I've ever assembled. The wood looks great, although if you squint I think one of the legs isn't perfectly straight, althought no one can really tell. But overall very happy!!
