I was pleasantly surprised to find DE's Coconut Oil Toothpaste to be gentle, tasty, and non-oily. It has a delightful light and creamy feel while cleaning my teeth very well without leaving a residue in my mouth or in the sink.

I’m in between three or four stars for this. It does clean well and it does seem to brighten up my teeth immediately after use. However, there is not a lot of flavor; it is just a subtle mint flavor with a hint of coconut oil. I’m ok with this though as a prominent flavor is not that important to me, as long as it doesn’t taste bad. This doesn’t taste bad, but not particularly good either - just sort of neutral. It doesn’t foam up, which I am ok with; foaming isn’t necessary to clean teeth and the non-foaming component makes it more gentle to use. It is a soft, creamy consistency at first but quickly turns into a more runny consistency upon brushing. I do have to use a little more than I would with foaming kinds, but again, I’m ok with that. In general I like this toothpaste because it does clean well and it is gentle; no harsh flavor, burning or irritation. I like that it is fluoride-free, has vegan ingredients and is not tested on animals. The ingredients are also very good, safe, and of high quality.

This paste tastes really good and makes my teeth feel cleaner. Long lasting as well. I am very glad I tried this and am ready to order more. Desert Essence products are the very best quality and this is why I have used them for years.

I liked this toothpaste although it didn't have much flavor. My mouth felt clean and fresh afterwards. I would purchase again.

It could be all in my head but I really feel like my gums bleed way less after switching to this toothpaste from the usual Crest or Colgate. It's not as powerfully minty as I sorta hoped it would be but the more I use it the more that doesn't bother me -- in fact I kind if like not having a minty mouth for the first hour or two of my day.

I had severe tooth pain. This toothpaste did wonders on alleviating the pain. I also bought some for a friend with the same issue. This worked when nothing else did. I tried ambisol, and nutmeg oil, neither worked. She now swears by it! Amazing product! I recommend to everyone!

I have been using this toothpaste for a little over a month & I am very happy with it. It leaves my teeth feeling nice & clean. If you like the flavor of doublemint gum then you'll love the flavor of this toothpaste because it tastes exactly the same, just a little toned down. That's another thing I really like about the toothpaste, the mint in it isn't super powerful. Overall, it's a great product! No complaints from me.

For years, I used conventional flouride toothpastes and suffered from painful swollen gums. Because I love the taste of ginger, someone gave me a tube of Desert Essence ginger flavoured toothpaste. I used it for years, and even the dentist noticed how much healthier my gums were. I thought it was SLS that was causing the sensitivity and the dentist suggested that I use Sensodyne, which was now SLS free. At my checkup 6 months later, it was noted that I had gingivitus in the gums at the back of the mouth. On my own, I stopped using Sensodyne and went looking for my favorite ginger flavoured toothpaste, only to find that it was no longer available. Instead I purchased this Coconut Mint toothpaste and here it is, a month later, and my gums are no longer swollen. Coincidence? I think not. This toothpaste has a creamy mild flavour and none of that excessive foam that so many pastes have. A great product.

When I found out coconut oil was so good for you, I buy it every chance I get. Now I have a new way to add it to my daily routine. When I go out, it gives me added confidence in the way I carry myself. I can tackle anything that crosses my path. Thanks, Desert Essence!!

Have tried a lot of natural toothpastes in the past year. After about a month my sensivity returns. This is the only one I will use from now on 3 months in and no sensivity.

For all of you suffering from chronic canker sores, look no further! After using this toothpaste for 4 weeks I had no problems with the frequent canker sores I used to get. As a test (stupid me! ) I switched back to a normal toothpaste brand (crest) to see what would happen and Lo and behold the painful little suckers were back :( Subsequently started using the Coconut oil paste again and have had no further sores in my mouth. I highly recommend this product.

I used to get chronic canker sores. After 2 weeks of using this toothpaste I am canker sore free!!! My teeth look noticeably whiter. I highly recommend this toothpaste for everyone!!
