It is beautiful, elegant, even. Modelled after a massive model Canova made for a piazza in Naples (never completed). It is about 2' tall/long. Not as glossy as the photo. Only down side is that it comes with no instructions and I don't know if I correctly adjusted the support rod so that it appears he is standing and not floating. He feels a bit wobbly.

I am revising my old review with an extra star. Now that I have lived with this horse a while, he is fine for my purposes, after turning the support pole over so he can stand on the pedestal and be steady for my dolls to ride. He is the ONLY horse in 1/4 scale (18" dolls) that looks like a real horse and not a kid's toy.
