Q: I purchased one but lights will not come on even with movement, "hooping," or "bumping/tapping." I'm concerned that it is broken or the batteries may be dead. How can I change out the batteries or make it work to light up?

The lights are pretty but it’s not a functional hula hoop. Too light. There is no weight to keep momentum like the old hula hoops I had as a kid. The netting around the it is also very scratchy.
