Q: We have only had this lamp for 6 months, and it no longer works. it broke bizarrely fast. we have a similar lamp sold from target and it has lasted years!

Q: We are a military family that recently got stationed to Germany. Can this lamp be used with a simple plug adapter or will it not be useful while stationed here since it is not a german light bulb?

A: Ace - Thank You for that question. Do they get hot, the answer is yes. Like any light source, they do indeed generate some heat. However LED lights actually produce significantly less heat than other alternatives because they have a built-in heat sink. Hope that helps. Happy Shopping!

The Kids' Desk Lamp by Pillowfort™ was adorable and a perfect fit for my daughter’s desk...while it lasted. She loved the fun and stylish design, but unfortunately, the lamp started flickering and completely stopped working after just a few months. One major downside is that it has integrated LED bulbs, which are non-removable. This means once the bulb stops working, the entire lamp is essentially useless. It’s disappointing, especially considering how much we liked the look of it and expected better durability. If you’re looking for something longer-lasting or repairable, you might want to consider a lamp with replaceable bulbs instead.

My daughter received this lamp to go on her desk. She loves how it goes on easily by tapping 1-3 times depending on the level of brightness desired. It worked great, until it didn't - the lamp essentially became hot to the touch (which it hadn't done previously) and then would not longer turn on - the biggest problem with this lamp is that you cannot replace the bulb, so once it's burned out, you have to trash it.

This is a cute lamp. I love that it has soft, medium and bright light when you tap the silver touch button. It is nice for reading or task lighting. I think it’s perfect for a kid bedside table. For an adult it is on the small side. There is also sometimes a small delay when coming on. I wish you could tap the lamp anywhere for power, instead of just the silver button/spot. It is a great price for the item.

I used this lamp on average 1-3 hours a day and it stopped working after 4 months. I liked that it had 3 shades of brightness and the touch to activate, unfortunately it does not last and you can’t change or fix the LED bulb once it burns out.
