The Room & Joy Alice Sleeper Sofa with Memory Foam Mattres is a 2-in-1 solution. Made with rich linen upholstery and a tufted back design, it has a comfortable place to sit thanks to an independently encased coil seat cushion. The Alice is also ideal to host guests as it opens into a bed, which offers a very comfortable night’s sleep. Made to match any home, it adds a contemporary touch to classic and modern décor. What’s more, it fits even the smallest spaces!
I'm pleased with this item for the price i paid ($690). The material reminds me of linen. It's durable and doesn't feel soft, but also does not feel like burlap. It's a bit stiff/hard for sitting, but i didn't buy it to be my main couch. The assembly is easy and could be done by oneself. The "queen mattress" is more like a 3" memory foam mattress-topper and the size feels more like an XL Full, not a queen. The pictures are true to description. The delivery was good too. I live in an apartment and they brought it to my door. Overall, the quality is relative to the price. Since i basically bought it b/c i have occasional over night guests; it's perfect for price, style, & function for my 1 bedroom apartment.
I really like the sofa for the price. FYI - Assembly is required, but fairly straight forward. I encountered issues with assembly and contacted the manufacturer as the instructions suggested when holes for bolts were not aligning. I had to email about 10 items (pictures, proof of purchase, receipts, bar codes, etc, etc, etc....) before they would review my issue. Their response came back stating the obvious. (It was Elizabeth who I spoke with at Dorel Home Products) The brackets were not aligning correctly. I already knew that before I called. Ultimately, I had to move the one bracket over by more than 3/8" (good thing I had a drill for the screws - I would not have been able to move the bracket by hand). Sorry, was unable to attach a photo. It would serve Dorel Home Products and their customers to have better quality assurance with their pre-assembly department. I was able to trouble shoot, without the help of the manufacture, the sofa is assembled and all is well thanks to me. BTW - The delivery service Target used was awesome!! The went above and beyond the call.
