Try it
Ive tried alot of things for my cystic acne and this is the one. It has the texture of an ointment but without the oiliness. It will dry out the area though, so be sure you moisturize.

This product requires consistent use (like at retinoids) to see good results. I’ve used adapalene gel a few different times to treat acne with varying results. The differin gel works to a point for me to reduce the occurrence of blemishes but I still had congested skin after about a month of use. I have sensitive skin though and didn’t find that this irritated my skin and it didn’t cause any flakiness.

It takes consistency and patience, but it truly works. These are my before and after results after 7 months of daily use (never skipped once!). I have PCOS acne, and I can honestly say it’s worth every penny.

Nice product 😍
It is a good product and works very well. It feels nice and gentle on the skin. It takes some time to show results, but it really works. I like to use it at night and I recommend it.

Didn’t work well for my son.
While the cleanser was amazing, my son is not impressed with this product and says that it doesn’t really help wipe out the break out or remove the redness. There is another product that he loves and uses as needed that works for him. I think everyone has different skin and wha works for one doesn’t work for all. The cleanser is 100% yes! This treatment we probably won’t buy again.

Not a miracle balm
This is helpful when you have an acne breakout, however dont expect it to clear up your skin. It definitely helps reduce my flare ups but doesnt take them away completely and nothing happens overnight, not in my experience.

I haven’t had bad acne in years, but once I used this for a couple of bumps, my face broke out badly. Haven’t had bad acne for years until I used this product.

No Irritation
The Differin Gel treatment works so well and it doesn’t burn my skin at all and it’s so cooling once you put it on. It’s so gentle on dry skin and there’s ZERO irritation and no redness. Thank you so much !

Easy to apply and it helps dryness and breakouts, with improved texture, it helps calm down a pimple for an important event. It prevents acne and breakouts that occur which make it go away quickly.

Worth the purchase
I'm really happy with the results. Helps lighten dark spots and draw up those hard knots and inflamed bumps go down within couple days. I'd get those itchy random bumps that show up out of nowhere around my jawline. It would go down and come back in same spot all the time. This really works to get rid of those and my skin texture has improved. I used small amount and within 4 days I could see it was working well. Moved on to spot treating all over face and no severe side affects so far. No redness, swelling or skin peeling. Very happy with results so far, but the box is huge compared to size of product inside. It's tiny, about the size of my finger.

works
I decided to switch from tret to this because my skin was so sensitive and breaking out still. this helped me and I did purge a little but it's been helping acne and inflammation. I'll continue to use.

Not for me
Used this product to try to get rid of both texture and ache on my face. Used it for over 5 months. Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me. I still broke out even while using this product. No skin irritation as I went slow and increased every week. Minimal peeling. Drying but use a moisturize after.

Like any retinoid, adapalene is something you have to ease into. It’s not a product you jump in and use every night right away. I started by cycling it on and off with other skincare nights and slowly worked my way up to more frequent use. For my extremely oily, acne prone skin, it has honestly been a game changer. I’ve noticed a big improvement in overall skin turnover, and breakouts clear up in a couple of days instead of lingering for weeks. It’s also helped a lot with dark spots that stick around after acne. That said, nightly use isn’t for everyone. If you don’t have very oily or acne prone skin, using adapalene every night may be too much and could cause irritation. It’s really important to do your research, or better yet, talk with a dermatologist or licensed aesthetician so you’re using it in a way that makes sense for your specific skin needs. Sunscreen is non negotiable when using adapalene. Daily SPF is a must, even on cloudy days, since retinoids make your skin more sensitive to the sun. It’s also important to avoid using other chemical exfoliants at the same time, like AHAs, BHAs, or peels, especially while your skin is adjusting. Mixing too many actives can easily lead to irritation or even a chemical burn. I highly recommend adapalene for someone who’s willing to be patient, do the work, and truly commit to building it into their routine in a way that supports their skin barrier. When used correctly and consistently, the results are absolutely worth it!
