He loved it! The string doesn’t work but he’s too little to care. He just uses his hand to move it around. For the price, that’s all I expected. I also got the bigger one for 20 and it does work and it’s easier to use and steadier for little hands.
This was a just poor design. You have to pull the string while holding the back wheel up in the air, release the string, then place the bike on the ground while the rear wheel is spinning. Then, the bike only goes for about a second before he crashes. I assume the crash is part of the plan, as he does in the movie. But, this is difficult for small hands to operate. My son got so frustrated that he doesn't want to play with it anymore.
