A: Hello LSR - Thanks for reaching out, the 12 inch one is waterpourus which means water will not hold in the vase, where as the 16 inch one is water tight and will be able to hold water. Hope this information helps - Haley

While I really appreciate the beauty and the modern clean look of this vase, I only have one issue with it. When I purchased it from target I examined each one and they all had some sort of red scratch on them that I cannot get off. I am not sure what it is or what it is from and if it has affected all of the vases like this. Not a deal breaker but I knocked one star off for that.

I was initially taken back by how large these vases were. But I liked it so much I went back and purchased the bigger one for my kitchen island centerpiece. I’ve been switching out the flowers and it changes the look every time. I just changed the gypsophila stems I had out for some warm fall stems and it looks gorgeous! I’m obsessed !
