I love this design. It’s heavy and high quality but because it isn’t sealed, there was mold/mildew build up constantly. I wash my dog’s bowls frequently and it was inevitable. Lovely product otherwise.

Have had this water bowl for at least a year and have loved it! So much so that I had to come back and do a review! Heavy and sturdy. Got it for a cat that tipped or scooted every other bowl I tried. This bowl has been a godsend and completely fixed the problem. No more water mess. The cat even stopped splashing the water out with her paw, as she did with smaller bowls. But I keep the water level low in case she does decide to play with it. The bowl is wide enough that it doesn’t need to be filled completely for the water to last a while. Have had no issues with mold, paint peeling, or cracks.

Definitely big for my pup but I wanted that because I have two pups and they like to drink out of the bowl at the same time! It does have the grip on the bottom so it doesn’t slide!

I’ve only had this bowl for 2 months. I’ve never put it in the dishwasher and only hand washed. Despite this the white of the bowl started wearing off and I found this disturbing because my dog is drinking water from it - I hate to think what chemicals were in it- I will be bringing back to the store
