Dolle Lite Shelf Silver TRI Shelf Bracket Set - white

The shelves (I bought 2) look very good where I hung them in the kitchen for my cookbooks. The melamine seams look a bit cheap, but I love the gray metal side brackets. I found those easy to mount, both to the board and the wall. What I did not like is that both shelves, even though very well packed and protected, had each one damaged corner. I put them in the back underside as I did not want to go through the hassle of return. Had I bought them in the store, I would have wanted them exchanged.

The shelves themselves are great once they were put up, but they were a pain to assemble and hang. They didn't come with any screws or instructions. The brackets need to be screwed to the wood shelf, which required a trip to Home Depot to find screws small enough. They weren't particularly cheap shelves, so I was surprised that this was the case.

I wanted a small shelf for cookbooks, and this one was exactly the right size for the space I had in mind. It seems well-made and was easy to install. The brackets act as bookends, which helps keep the shelf safe and tidy.

I was grateful to earlier reviewers for the tip about the lack of hardware (there are also no pre-drilled holes). I used 4 3/4 in wood screws to attach the shelf to the brackets, and because I have plaster and lath walls, I used toggle bolts and washers to attach it to the wall (see YouTube videos for instructions, and be aware that it involves putting 4 quarter-sized holes in your walls). But if you have drywall (or can anchor it to studs), installation would be pretty straight-forward...just get 4 drywall anchors and screws (or just wood screws if you can attach it to studs). It is exactly what I was looking for, and is very, very solid. I installed this one in my bathroom, but I like it so well, I may install a few more in my kitchen.

Target shipping department is the best as far as I know. Very carefully packed for shipping. I put it up for my kitchen side counter for my eye glasses/sun glasses and small stuff I use it often. Dolle lite shelf looks handsome and clean. I'm glad I'm well organized.

This little wall bracket is quite nice, fashionable, and very strong for the price paid. It does not come with screws - understandably so - because you (the buyer) must determine what kind of screws you need and how long the screws should be. If the bracket is being placed on drywall you'll need drywall anchor screws or maybe even toggle fasteners. If going into 2X4's directly, just use long wood screws. First, determine where you want the shelf and measure, use a stud finder to see if you're going to drill into 2X4's or drywall (or whatever), mark & drill the holes, screw it in and you're all set. The shelf will then be screwed into the bracket from the underside and can bear quite a lot of weight. Bottom line: we recommend this product. You get a lot for a little.

I bought two different kinds of screws and neither of them worked with this shelf. It is a nice shelf but super annoying it requires tiny special screws and doesn't come with them!

Cute once it was hung up but it should have came with the screws u need to install it
