Not quite the scent I was hoping for
I was super excited to try this new scent of Dove body wash but it really wasn’t what I was expecting. It smells like a really gross vanilla candle :( It almost has like a chai smell. If you like vanilla scented candles I don’t think you’ll mind but I was expecting a better vanilla smell like the eos lotion, also doesn’t have marshmallow scent at all in my opinion.

Smells Bad!
I have used Dove Body Wash, and the now defunct body lotion, for years. I have had no issue. This product however, has such an awful, off putting smell, I gagged when I opened it. This smells very much like a bad candle, so avoid if that is not the smell for you.

The product development employee at Dove who allowed this to be produced as a vanilla/marshmallow scent should be fired!!! It smells like cinnamon-y potpourri, similar to Hobby Lobby at Christmastime. This is a crime against gourmand lovers. I’m so disappointed.

Scent lingers for hours after your shower, but with this scent, that's not a good thing. This smells nothing like marshmallows or vanilla, it actually stinks so bad. I don't even know how to describe it except maybe like brown sugar? I don't recommend if your looking for a fall winter scent.

SO DISAPPOINTING
This smells nothing like marshmallow. I am so disappointed because i was really looking forward to this. It has a tiny hint of vanilla but mostly cinnamon and it smells so nasty. It also curdles and doesn't have the typical dove creaminess. Dove really missed the mark with this one or something went VERY wrong during manufacturing

Possible mix up in production?
Like several other reviews have mentioned, this smells identical to last year's gingerbread holiday sent. I'm wondering if this was a mix-up in production. It smells good, but definitely not like marshmallow & vanilla.

I really like old fashioned Dove bar soap, and the Baby Dove line. This does not smell like marshmallow or vanilla, it smells like an artificial chemical generic soapy type smell. Think basic hotel shampoo. Gross.

Smells like crappy potpourri
Smells nothing like marshmallow and vanilla!!! It actually smells like crappy potpourri. I ended up with an allergic reaction to this as well, never had that with any other body wash.
