If you have oily hair this is really good at getting rid of the excess oil. While wet my hair felt so dry and was worried it dried my hair out but once it dried it was so soft, I felt so clean. The itch did go away for about a day or 2. Can’t go past 2nd day hair. If it gave me more than a full day of an itch free scalp so I didn’t have to wash my hair, I would’ve given this 5 stars. Dandruff also minimized by a lot after just one use and my hair smelt amazing after.

I’ve struggled with flaky dry scalp most of my life and I’ve been using this shampoo and conditioner combo for almost this entire year (2022). This shampoo does have the only active ingredient that works for me (and technically Cruelty Free but I’m not fully sold on that). That being said, I don’t think it’s good for everyday use. It works but I have somewhat fine, straight, blonde hair and I’ve noticed a lot of shedding (more than average). I would recommend only using this one-two times a week and then something really hydrating the rest of the week.

I’ve bee. Struggling with dandruff for 20 years. Been to dermatologist, tried their stuff but had been using Head and shoulders because it work better(never made it go away though ). Tried dove on my young child who started itching their head a lot and it worked. So I tried it for myself and it made the flakes go away completely! I’ve been flake free for 6 months and it’s an amazing feeling not having to worry or be ashamed anymore. Told my 70 year old father to try it and it’s working so well for him too. Please never discontinue this product!!!

Literally the only shampoo that actually keeps flakes and dandruff away and my scalp isn’t itchy.Much better than head and shoulders that seems to make matters worse.GET THIS if you have dandruff, flakes, or an itchy scalp and if your scalp gets dry.I have thick strands but thin hair.My hair gets very oily but my scalp somehow stays dry, especially after showering, but this particular dove dandruff shampoo works.Use regularly.

One of the best dove products I like so far. I’m trying to find the best shampoo by Dove. So far the Argan and repair oil was stinky. Smelt like sugar cookies. This smelt like sweet cream almost like a light coconut cream scent. This really does help with a thirsty scalp to stop itching from dry winter months. I think this provides more moisture than their coconut hydration product. I’ve mild dandruff so I don’t know how this would work with someone with a medium or severe case. I do know that most dandruff shampoos need about 2 weeks to fully show results on your head and Google recommends to leave on 5 minutes so the medication can work. I agree with this because if you rinse out immediately then the medication can’t work inside your strands. Also this dandruff shampoo doesn’t make you feel your head went into a tumble land wasteland. I’ve used some dandruff shampoo that dried my hair out so bad that I had to use a deep moisture mask to save my hair. I highly recommend you try out their Soothing Moisture by their Dermascalp line. That conditioner is the best Dove conditioner I ever tried. Also Dove claims that all their products are color safe. I don’t dye my hair fun colors just black. I notice I can get by dying my hair once a month with this. But I wash my hair two times a week to further not irritate my scalp by washing my hair every other day. Also washing your hair in cold water also helps to prevent a dryer scalp. Just put your hair in an old pillowcase or t shirt then put hot water on to do body wash time. Dove is my favorite brand of shampoos. I wish all their products was sulphate free. But not everyone can afford a sulphate free dandruff shampoo or conditioner.
