Q: Clean tank message won't clear

submitted by Lauren - 1 month ago
  • A: If the "Clean Tank" message remains on the display, it usually indicates a sensor misalignment, a temporarily stuck float valve, or air trapped in the system. Please try the following troubleshooting steps to clear the message: Perform a System Reset: Empty the raw water tank completely. Unplug the machine from the power outlet and wait for about 3 minutes. Plug it back in, refill the tank with fresh tap water, and place it back on the base. Check the Tank Placement and Cover: Ensure the water tank is seated properly on the base. Make sure the tank cover is completely flush and aligned with the main unit, as a loose or misaligned cover can trigger sensor errors. Verify the Float Valve: Look inside the water tank to locate the internal float valve. Gently tap or move it to ensure it can float freely and is not stuck or jammed by mineral buildup. Release Trapped Air (Spring Valve): Before placing the full tank back onto the machine, press the spring valve at the bottom of the tank with your finger for about 5 seconds to release any trapped air pressure. Purge the Internal Lines: If the error persists, remove the pure water pitcher, then press and hold the reset/configuration button on the panel to help purge any trapped air from the internal water lines. If the "Clean Tank" message still won't clear after trying these steps, please contact DREO Customer Support directly with your order details so we can assist you further or arrange a warranty check.

Q: What is materials are using in the filter? Does it contain coconut fiber material?

submitted by Dean64119 - 2 months ago
  • A: The filter includes multiple filtration materials, and it does contain coconut shell-based activated carbon as one of the key layers. This coconut shell activated carbon is made from high-quality coconut shells and processed through high-temperature carbonization (around 600–900°C) followed by steam activation. Under this manufacturing process, any potential allergenic coconut proteins are almost completely removed, so it is generally considered to have negligible allergenic risk.

Q: Does this machine have Remineralization or Finished water TDS or Finished water pH

submitted by Annie - 2 months ago

However, it is designed to remove harmful contaminants such as heavy metals and impurities while retaining some beneficial minerals in the water. It can display the purified water TDS, but it does not measure or display pH values.

In addition, the system can remove over 1000 types of impurities and help inhibit bacterial growth, which is beyond what many standard filters can achieve.

Easy to use, clean tasting water, good size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very convenient water filter for the counter top as cannot use tap based. Was easy to set up and use, with very clean tasting water. One pitcher lasted whole day, and no signs of slowing down after repeated use.

Easy to use water purifier, that gives clean, great tasting water everytime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To set the bigger picture here, I was highly in need of a water purification system that was more autonomous than those hectic pitcher style setups. Sooo, I was more than happy to unbox this bad boy. I got it out, set up wasn't too tough at all, the numbers were a little confusing, but overall the convenient autofill pitchers were great and the water tastes was spot on, clean and refreshing. The machine is a joy to have but I have two solid gripes. 1st, the thing never empties the entire reserve tank. I get a solid 3/4 tank worth of water every single time and there's 1/4 tank remaining when it stops delivering water and I have to refill the tank. Honestly this is quite frustrating as I have to fill the tank more often. 2nd, it has a solid countertop grip that makes it hard to move around to access the tank to fill it with water, some tiny casters would do wonders! Other than that I love the thing, it makes clean, pure water easy to access without the need for plastic bottles or an expensive sink setup.

Disappointed.

It works really well and I absolutely love it but it started leaking after a month. It has a huge reservoir tank but you only get to actually use 2/3 of it. I'll use it until I find another one that I like.

Used for only one month before it failed. The water flow suddenly dropped from a normal stream to a slow drip. I checked the water tank, valve, power cycle, and filter installation, and none of them solved the issue. The machine still makes pumping noises, but they are weak and intermittent. After restarting, it will produce a normal stream for only 1–2 seconds, then immediately return to dripping. This appears to be a product defect rather than normal wear and tear. Very disappointed with the reliability. A water purifier should not develop such a serious problem after just one month of light use.

Very poor produce.

Clean water tank message never goes away. Called Dreo several times & nothing they suggested works. READ reviews from other websites. Looks like product is defective as others also state.

If the steps you were given haven't helped, please contact our support team via the email in your manual or search "DREO support". We can help review your setup, provide usage guidance, or assist with replacement or refund options if needed.

Returned it.

It’s very bulky and takes a lot of space. The big recipient doesn’t empty completely. The water runs so slow after a little while.

Constantly stops filtering and filling water the pitchers are small so after one small glass of water it’s basically empty. Probably would need 3-4 pitchers to fill Stanley cup. I’ve had it less than a week and it already needs a new filter (supposedly the filter life is 6 months) and they cost 50 each. Not happy! Also the water doesn’t even taste that great
1 reply from Dreo team - 1 month ago
We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration, especially after such a short period of use. For the filtration process, it’s important to note that each time new raw water is added, the wastewater collected in the lower tank should be fully emptied before continuing use. This helps maintain proper filtration flow and prevents the system from slowing down or stopping prematurely. That said, if you’re experiencing frequent interruptions or unusually fast filter depletion, it may indicate an issue with the setup or the unit itself. Please contact our support team using the email provided in your manual or by searching “DREO support” on Google. We’d like to take a closer look at what’s happening and help determine whether troubleshooting, a replacement, or another solution is needed.

Excellent machine!

It's nice to buy something made by people who clearly put a lot of thought into it: the dual pitcher system is genius, and the single removable filter makes replacement easy.

Ditch The Plastic Bottles & Get A DREO Water Filter Syste!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now I’ll be honest, I’ve been the one to get my purified filtered drinking water through purchasing endless amounts of plastic water bottles. Not only is this pricey, I started to feel bad about how much plastic I was consuming. As soon as I got the Dreo Countertop Water Filter With 7 In 1 Osmosis Filtration System, I could tell those plastic water bottle days were OVER! This easy to use compact unit helps purify drinking water of impurities including PFOA, PFOS, Chlorine, Fluoride, And More. With its BPA free materials this unit is an auto filter that helps clean your water easily. Just place your pitcher on the unit and it autofills with purified drinking water in just a few seconds. I was in awe at how fast the filtration process was and how quickly the pitcher filled up. The filtered water is crisp, clean and taste so refreshing. I love that this unit came with two pitchers so you can have one pitcher in the fridge and one on standby! Getting your unit set up was very easy! I was able to clean it and start up the filter in about 10 minutes! This is your sign to ditch the water bottles and invest in a water purification system! I did receive this product with compliments for an honest review!

Perfect Water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was beyond excited to receive this Dreo water filter system. I consume large amounts of water daily but always from plastic bottles. Since taking the Dreo system, I’ve saved money on not having to buy as much water, and the filtered water is much purer than the bottled water. It comes with two pitchers to make storage of fresh water even easier. I love this product.

Works great, water tastes good. I read that it might have a different or slightly bitter taste after going through the filter, but it doesn’t. It just tastes like normal water.

Easy to use, and delivers great tasting water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really impressed with the DREO water filter RO system. Super easy to setup and get going. The design is sleek, fits in any setting, and feels like it’s designed to last. It doesn’t take up too much space, which I was grateful for since I’m limited on that. It’s also surprisingly quiet while running when compared to other similar filtration systems. The water tastes clean, fresh, and consistent. I really love the autofill pitcher mode, it’s super easy to use and really convenient. The self cleaning is a nice bonus and makes maintenance a lot easier.

An easy-to-use countertop filter that delivers bet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DREO Countertop Water Filter is honestly a pretty easy addition to your kitchen if you just want better-tasting water without any hassle. The setup is quick and straightforward, so you're not stuck figuring things out for hours. The autofull feature is super convenient since you don't have to keep checking on it, and cleaning it isn't a big chore either. The capacity works well for everyday use, though you might find yourself refilling it if you go through a lot of water. There can be small issues from time to time, like keeping up with maintenance, but nothing that really takes away from how useful and convenient it is overall.

Pure Refreshment on the Go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DREO Water Filter 115 has completely transformed my daily hydration routine. Its ease of use is remarkable—from the simple setup to the effortless pouring, everything feels intuitive and well-designed. The 5-liter tank size provides a generous capacity, while the convenience of the two pitchers allows for seamless swapping, ensuring a cold supply is always ready in the fridge. What truly stands out is its portability. It’s sleek enough to fit comfortably in various spaces, making it perfect for moving between the kitchen, office, or even taking on a weekend trip. Most importantly, it effectively filters out tap water, removing that harsh chemical aftertaste and leaving behind nothing but crisp, clean water. If you're looking for a reliable and convenient filtration solution, this is a fantastic choice!

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The capacity is a little bit to small for me. You are constantly having to pull out the tank, refill, put containers in the fridge. The containers barely fill the size of water bottles we use today. I like the 7-1 filter, much better water quality than you otherwise get from a tap. Still a great easy set up and easy way to change filters and maintain. I’d recommend it for those that aren’t ready to take on putting one under the sink.
