The assembly instructions are horrible. It was very difficult to figure out how the different parts go together. That being said, The table makes up for it once it is assembled. It is stylish and pretty as well as functional. It is very well constructed and stable. I highly recommend this table. Just be ready for a rough ride assembling it. I would have given 5 stars if it hadn't been for the horrible instructions.
Pros: -Good coloring, pretty photo accurate -Nice looking finishes -Surface is level and stable enough to use as a main table -Easy as IKEA to construct Cons: -Leveling the table is relatively difficult -Assembly Instructions could be clearer -Slight "drop" in the wings when brought level, making a not FULLY level surface (but not very noticable) -Potential to "kick in" legs When building the table, take note. The sides with the padding are the TOP, and they need to be built with the frame piece that has the drilled through holes on it's side, (which is also the top). The sides with the screw holes are the bottom, and should be coupled with the frame piece that also has the screw holes. To level the table, you'll need to screw in/out the feet on the table, of which there are 8. This can be pretty difficult if you're dealing with a non-uniform surface, such as tile. Lastly, the legs that fold out to hold the leafs open DO NOT lock. So you'll need to either be aware while dining, or make sure your guests are aware.
It's a nice table. When not in use for parties, it doubles as a sofa table. Extra benefit. I wouldn't have kids seated at it because the legs move easily, and they rarely sit still. But good for adults.
It is good as it is what i wanted. The instructions were wrong. The first step will leave you in trouble when you are on the last step!... I essentially had to put it together twice! In the 1st step swap where it shows #5 and #6 being used . 5 should be where 6 is and 6 should be where 5 is and it will be correct. And they swing inward... where they never show it until later on..
