A: There are literally 2 pictures of the charging station on here without the controllers. Anyone who tries to buy this for $30 thinking it will come with two $70 controllers deserves to feel bamboozled.

Q: Would this charging dock work for the Playstation 4 controllers by chance? Or the PS4 Charging dock work for the new PS5 controllers?

A: The connectors/contacts on the 'bottom' of the controller are unique to the Dualsense controllers. So, No, they will not work or match up with Playstation 4 controllers or vice versa.

bought this item on Target.com and they sent me a knockoff "YOUSE" USB-C charger. they then refused to accept the return in store because it wasn't the same item. Buy on Target.com at your own risk. shame it looks like they are either repackaging items or allowing third party resellers on their site.

It charges your controllers and looks great next to your PS5 Unit. In fact, its shaped like a tiny PS5. The only annoying part is keeping the controllers seated correctly. The slightest bump will knock them right off the charger, which is super annoying. If it is not seated JUST right, it will not charge. When you have both controllers on there, you will always bump one slightly and it will fall off the charger. Heck, if you walk past it and a slight breeze come by, the controllers will fall off. The controllers balance on it about as well as you can balance a baseball bat on your head. I am not returning it or anything. If I had to do it over, I would get a 3rd party unit that keeps the controllers in place a bit better.

Have to admit, I was very lucky to find one at the store but as soon as I opened the box I was sold. It’s so simple easy to use for charging the controllers. Looks sleek next to the console and saves the USB cable for the headphones when they need to be charged. With a depleted battery, the controller takes about 3 hours to fully charge and this is great to charge both. Follow the instructions inside the box and this will last a very long time. Bravo Sony! As well, thanks Target!!
