As a fan of the original cartoon, I am grateful to get some modern action figures finally. It's a little bittersweet though, because the quality of these figures is significantly below what we have come to expect from Hasbro. The plastic is inferior to marvel legends in that is is brittle in some places, but rubbery at the wrists, where it can shear off during articulation. Speaking of articulation, it feels super lazy here. Dungeon Master only has shoulder articulation, wrists, and neck. As for the wrists, be careful trying to rotate them! They're stuck, and you can feel the peg twisting instead of turning. The entire rest of the body is a solid chunk of plastic! No waist, legs, ankles, or elbows. Really disappointing! As for Venger, my biggest gripe is the ridiculous side-eye paint job. I actually repainted mine to fix this. Venger's articulation is better than Dungeon Master, but it's still limited and feels lazy. For fans of the cartoon, these are probably all we get, and I reluctantly recommend for those fans.

Grew up watching the show, and so glad these are all available. Can't wait until the rest are available. Venger is the best so far with the coolest die.
Decent enough.

The figures are very stiff, which is good for allowing the to stand on their own, but bad for attempting to pose them.

This is a wish came true. Figures based on one of my beloved Saturday morning cartoons. I'm hoping we get a series 2 to get all the characters. I wish they would have given a little more articulation in them though.

Love the sculpt and quality of plastic of the Venger figure in particular. It’s solid and accurate to the cartoon. The one glaring issue for those who want to pose him is that he has limited articulation at his arms. He has single joined elbows, and no wing articulation at all since it’s a single peg-in piece. You would think, that Hasbro would at least improve arm articulation and reduce leg articulation since the “skirt” already prevents any observable positioning with the legs. Also paint applications to the face vary, in placement. So it’s hit or miss and you have to open the windowless package, and open the paper bags he is packed in to check the paint. Target no longer does exchanges, from my understanding, but simply refunds, if you want to get another one and chance a better or worse paint application. I had to return one. If paint was more carefully applied I’d give it a perfect rating. It displays beautifully however, especially since there’s slim pickins for collectibles featuring this particular Peter Cullens -voiced character from the 80’s —Venger. Plus dungeon master who has articulated arms and swivel head, can keep yoda company on your shelf.

The figure sculpts on Venger and Dungeon Master are good looking. The joints are very tight! I hit them with a hair dryer for half a minute or so before attempting to move each joint. The biggest drawback on Dungeon Master is the lack of elbows, this limits his poseability. The shoulders and wrists are the only fully movable joints on the figure. The head can move but due to the sculpt, it doesn’t move much. Otherwise he looks great. I would have liked a blast effect to fit on his finger. Venger’s drawbacks are fairly minor. He has side eyes so he’s constantly looking to his left. And while the legs have a lot of articulation, the plastic skirt makes it fairly pointless. The shoulder cloak limits arm movements a bit, but it’s not as big of an issue. Venger comes with two extra hands that have blast effects molded onto them. Overall I give the set a B+ there’s room for improvement, but it’s not bad either. The included fold out backdrop was a nice added bonus.

Vengar’s arm snapped immediately off. The other arm almost. The screen in the box split immediately. This is a new low for Hasbro.
