This set is an excellent addition to my D&D library. I'd definitely recommend it to nee and veteran players.

Just what I was looking for at just the right price.

I really appreciate the price being so much lower than if I had bought all 4 items separately. The only thing that was disappointing is the DM's screen, it seemed to me that some of the information on the screen is a waste of space since it dosen't come up in play very often.

One of the biggest draws of this item, for me, was the foil covers. I expected them to look really good, but to be frank, they're hardly any different from the regular covers, just slightly shinier. The slipcase is nice and looks quite good, but one of the corners is damaged and it damaged the corner of the Player's Handbook inside, as well. The screen is quite nice, I love the dragon mural on the outside of it, and the references on the inside are helpful, but it really isn't necessary and only saves you a little bit of time. If you're an adept DM, you probably won't need it in the first place. In the end, this is a decent product whose bonuses, I believe, were hyped up too much. The damage to the slipcase is irritating, and the lack of any major difference between the foil covers and regular covers is quite disappointing. If you're a perfectionist and must have the best of the best, this is for you, but for anyone else, buying the books separately is probably a better option; you won't miss the foil since you wouldn't have noticed it in the first place. You'll also be saving yourself $30 that you can use on a whole other D&D book. But if you do choose to buy this anyway, I think you'll be satisfied; it's still a nice product, just a bit disappointing. On a side note, I spent over $100 on this only to have it be damaged when it arrived? Thanks, UPS.

Got them for my husband. He loves them.

Spent over 100 dollars and my book holder was damaged. Not good packaging and for the return hassle not worth it as it's not available in my store. Also some of the pages have a weird warp. Very dissatisfying.
