The Dyson Ball Multi Floor canister has been engineered for high dust removal. No other vacuum expels cleaner air.
This machine has the only turbine head controlled at the handle. No bending down. A fingertip control switches the brush bar off for delicate rugs and hard floors, and switches on for high pick-up on carpets.
With hygienic bin emptying, there’s no need to get your hands dirty – just push the button to release the dirt. And whole-machine HEPA filtration ensures that allergens and bacteria are trapped inside the machine, not expelled back into the home.
Includes a 5 year warranty covering parts and labor.
Easily dispose of dirt and debris without a vacuum bag.
Won't pick up anything bigger than dust. Attachments are useless.

I have had this vacuum for 3 years and I am just fed up with it. I get more and better use out of my $20 electric broom. The Dyson will not pick up anything bigger than a dust mote. I have to lift it over anything larger so it will suck it up. The attachments are awkward and very hard to use. I hate everything about this vacuum. I was taken in by the "revolutionary design" which is useless. Don't waste your money on this. If you have wood floors, tile floors, anything other than carpet, you will hate it, and if you have more than dust in your home, it won't pick it up. I regret spending the extra money on this and I won't do it again. Buyer beware!
I've had this vacuum for almost a year and have had tons of issues with it. When it works well, I love it but more often than not, the power cuts out and it stops working. I've done tons of troubleshooting and taken it to the local repair shop recommended by Dyson but I keep seeing the same issues. I don't have time to constantly take my vacuum to the repair shop. I had high expectations since this was my first Dyson product and as a student, I thought I was investing my limited income on something that would last but it's clear that's not the case. I will avoid buying another Dyson product in the future and would not recommend it to friends. Very disappointed.
How do I hate this vacuum? Let me count the ways!!

I have had this machine for two years. It is IMPOSSIBLE to empty without taking a knife or some other long, thin implement to pry the dirt and hair out from around the center of the canister—simply opening the canister can cause the dirt to go all over the floor if you don’t have it positioned INSIDE the garbage can before you open it. Additionally, the storage “hook” used to position the wand on the canister for storage is ridiculously small and difficult to use. Connecting the wand to the canister with this “hook” has finally broken my wand by stressing the head with this positioning. I bought this vacuum because I was so impressed with the Dyson upright, but found it difficult to maneuver. After this machine, I will NEVER by another Dyson.
I bought my Dyson 5 years ago. I received a 5 year warranty with my purchase. I'm very glad for that. The air driven power head only lasted 1 year. I've had one replaced every year. Now the hose & pipe ends are worn out, sloppy & leak. I have replacements now. My warranty is now expired & the power head etc will still wear out too fast. My mother's vacumn which she purchased when I was young, is still working great. My Dyson won't have that life span. I can purchase a really good central vac for this kind of money. Don't think I'll buy another one.
New machine, needed a little time to acquaint self with unique aspects of machine, but literature very helpful. Excellent diagrams. Machine cleans very well. Have a cat so that was priority. All "tools" arranged in clever manner, easy access. Is all plastic. Keeps it light. Expect it will hold up with reasonable care.
This is going on 4 years with this vacuum and it seems to be falling apart. Everything is plastic, so the wheels are worn down and don't actually turn anymore, which makes it Very LOUD, and the vacuum head is beat up (I use it once a week). I also live in a fairly small home which makes the long hose annoying because it's constantly getting stuck on a corner. I wish I had boughten a different vacuum:(
This vacuum is everything it was cracked up to be and more. The suction power is more than any other vacuum on the market. It has more suction than industrial shop vacs. Two small downsides, a little dirty to empty as I have to use a butter knife to get up around the cyclone. Second, larger debris tends to get caught in the bottleneck under the canister. Other than that, best vacuum I've ever had.
