Q: Does the fan cool the room or only circulate air?

A: Hello So happy, This is Miella from Dyson. The TP07 Pure Cool Tower is not an air conditioning unit, that refrigerates the air. Rather, it cools you by moving the air over and around you. Hope this helps! Miella Dyson Customer Support

Q: How often does filter need to be changed? Have one of your original fans since 2012,am now beginning to have problems with it but don't know if I want to pay this much again as I am now on a very fix income & now live in a ALF. Thanks.

A: Hi Sher, this is Kelly with Dyson. With our air purifiers, the filter life would vary depending on how often you run the machine. If you kept the purifier on 24/7, the filter would last about 6 months. Running the machine 12 hours or so each day would give you about a year of filter life. Have had this for a month now to replace my old school blade fan and this fan is so much better, love how quiet it is more options for speed and also has the purifier as well. I typically use this while I sleep and truly helps for a better sleep and not loud enough to wake you up on the lower speeds. Worth the price!

I bought this for my gym to be both an air purifier and a fan. I have to assume it’s a good air purifier because Dyson has such a good reputation, but the fan, even set on volume number 10 is not very strong nor very effective when you need a stiff breeze to cool yourself on a workout

The fan is very quiet and puts out the air. The fan has some great features that I use more than I thought. Even the remote control is intuitive. I like that the air filter only needs replacing once a year. Makes it easy to remember when to change it - every Christmas.

I want to start off by saying I usually don't do reviews but I had to say something about my Dyson purifier is absolutely amazing. It blows cold even when the room I have it in is usually hot. It tells me everything i need to know about the room. I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a great fan. I have purchased so many standing fans in the past I could've just purchased 2 or 3 of these fans instead. Thank you Dyson I love the product

My bedroom doesn’t have a great air vent and my room is always a bit too warm and humid (living in Texas). I was looking for a fan that could cool me off and also circulate the air in my room and WOW - this delivers. I keep it on during the day to keep the airflow going and turn it down a bit at night so it isn’t too strong. For a medium bedroom, it easily circulates the whole room and cools me down.

I just bought this product is supposed to be Brand New but the box that came in was very beat up an old. My first red flag. I bought this particular fan and waited for it to go on sale because it said it had a higher powered fan that can cool larger rooms. Even at speed 10 it can barely blow a piece of paper. I have an older Dyson fan but smaller end it has better airflow than a bigger one. It also continuously gets disconnected from the net work unlike my other fan that I’ve had for longer.
