Needed way more icing. The coop would not hold together with the white icing that was given, let alone any left for decorating. Ditto with the blue and green for decorating. The whole thing ended up in a pile. The only plus was the kids could at least still eat it.

I used markers on these eggs, and they are great for that. I liked that they were plastic and can keep from year to year. Great concept. However, having the recycle sign on each egg with lettering is quite distracting and hard to paint or draw around it as it is lifted writing. I won’t buy these again because of this.

Maybe it’s just me but there’s no nice way for the pieces to fit together. It won’t stay up and I’ve put a lot of the frosting glue, even making sure to set aside more than half of it. The instructions aren’t very clear either. It says to put it on the sides of the cookies but the picture instructions make it look like you’re outlining the shape on the cookie itself, not tracing the edges of the cookie to stick it to anywhere. The chicken cookies are cute but that’s about it. They taste kinda stale too, despite being sealed. The picture on the box also implies that yellow frosting was used for the chickens yet there’s no yellow frosting included, fyi. Just yellow sugar.
