I guess that I didn't read the reviews. I was looking for a patterned black panel. The picture makes the drap look like silk - a shine. It's a dull gray on gray panel. I wanted a contrast from my gray walls.
Color shown in picture both online and on the front of the packaging is not quite the same. In person the curtains are more light tan-ish with a denim blue design. Definitely not what I was looking for. I had to return them.
The quality is great but the linen color has a lot of gray and not all cream or linen like it seemed. I might keep them simply because I have them in blue and they are great so I know they will work well. Either way, definitely worth the money.
Buyer beware! I ordered these curtains in Smokey Blue because the photos on the website made the colors look like a rich blue and gold combination. What I received instead was a smokey blue color over linen, nowhere near the color palette I needed. They are beautifully made and the fabric pattern is really pretty but it is not a true representation of the color I saw on the internet. Just saying, if you are looking for a gold color, you won't get it here.
The curtains are very nice looking--the color listed is black but they're really graduated shades of grey. The material is a rougher, cotton/linen look blend (there is some cotton and linen in the material but they're not the majority). The tags say they are machine washable on cold, and tumble dry low. HOWEVER I did this with a couple of the panels I ordered and the front panel of material--the patterned part--shrunk appreciably so that the bottom blackout / thermalayer panel now hangs below the bottom of the front panel and is visible. Because the two panels are stitched together on three sides but not the bottom, the shrinkage of the front panel but not the back panel caused the front pane to hang a bit awkwardly. I tried just machine rinsing in cold water with low spin and hanging dry on another couple of panels, but even with that they came out of the washing machine having shrunk almost as much as when I tumble dried. So, bottom line--very attractive, but don't get them if you're counting on being able to machine wash / dry without shrinkage.
