Elite Cuisine 2.4L Electric Food Steamer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a few weeks ago to steam vegetables and some crab. It works really well, and does a really good job. I just wish it was a little larger, so it could do a larger volume. That way I could do more crabs at a time.

Does not leave veggies with an unpleasant aftertaste you can sometimes find when using electric steamers. The unit itself is easy to clean and doesn’t take much space to store in cabinets when not in use.

I even tried steaming up a sweet potato and it came out great. It is easy to use, just one dial with an auto shut off. It has a quick reference for times right on the front which I love because I always loose directions. Overall very happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving, I was excited to get busy steaming some vegetables. I've been using the Elite Gourmet stainless steel 2.5 qt food steamer for the past several weeks. I have to start out by saying that I love this little appliance. It doesn't take up too much room on the counter and it's visibly pleasing. It's so easy to use, just fill with water, set timer, and add your food. Within minutes we have healthy and delicious food. The lid and basket is BPA free and it's dishwasher safe. Included is a handy recipe booklet with all the foods steaming time. The timer does go up to 60 minutes. While reading the book, I saw that you can make hard boiled eggs by steam. There's even a special tray that comes included for eggs. I made my first batch of hard steamed eggs. They peel so easy!! I use this steamer for everything. Highly Recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great steamer for somebody who doesn't have a lot of space in their apartment but wants to continue to steam their vegetables such as myself. It's definitely compact and easy to put away easy to set up and steams your vegetables in no time at all. I do love that they come with steam times on the side so you don't have to drag out a manual each time that you use it. What I don't like is that there's an option for a digital manual but it's not on the actual website like it suggests that it is. I'm happy to have this is a part of my collection and will continue to stay my vegetables as it does a great job and I currently have no complaints

It’s 3 pieces to put together and it has a max line to show how much water to use. This works very well. I put squash and zucchini in it and in 15 mins it was done and so good. I can’t wait ti make more food in this. I love how in the book it shows times for what you are cooking

It fits in with my white kitchen and the guidelines for the steamer, and what it can steam are so accurate comes with it is very smart.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my vegetable steamer. It is so easy to use. It steams veggies and makes the most perfect boiled “steamed” eggs!! The shell just falls right off. I’ll never boil eggs in a pot of water again. Carrots are my new favorite too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a steamer to watch for. I love it! I have never been happier with my first time use of a steamer. I love the shut off timer, it works like it's supposed to. The booklet gives you the time spans and the amounts of the water to fill it up with. It is so easy to use. Cleaning is easy too. I used a soapy cloth and then a non soapy wet clean cloth to wash it out with. I have used vinegar on a cloth too. The water levels can be seen within the inside of the water well. There is a nice generous capacity to steam a nice amount of vegetables or what ever you want. I have done vegetables so far. My next use will be eggs and then some meat. Overall this is a product I like to use almost everyday! You have to be careful not to touch the top or sides right after or during steaming so your hands are safe. It works though and is not noisy at all!

With 400 Watts of heating power, the quick-steam builds steam fast and does a wonderful job also. A plus it has an AUTO SHUT-OFF TIMER.

I brought this to work for my office. My favorite lunch is salmon and mixed vegetables. Perfect way to eat healthy instead of eating out.

It’s really easy to use, The instructions are very thorough and gives you a lot of examples on timing for all kinds of foods. Really easy to disassemble and assemble and easy to clean. The lid took me a minute to make sure that I was completely secure the first time but after that it was easy and just popped right on.The timings are accurate for the vegetables that I have tried but everyone has their preferences. Wish I would have bought a bigger size but I love it.

It isn’t so big that it takes up a ton of storage space, which is something I was concerned about, and it it so useful. We have been trying to make healthy meals and sides, and this is an easy way to cook some vegetables. I haven’t tried it for other things yet, but I’m looking forward to trying different foods!
