I bought it a year ago December and when I went to go update the firmware it crapped out. I spent over an hour on the phone with tech support for them to tell me that it's out of warranty and that it's a hardware issue and would need to be taken to a Epson Service provider. It hasn't printed red in over 3 months prior to this because it jammed and I could never unjam it. My last printer was cheaper than this and lasted almost 5 years before it crapped out. Very disappointed!

Printer does great at home. Worked great for a couple years then it sat for a year not my yellow is clogged. Make sure you print monthly to make sure the head doesn’t get clogged. Once it is clogged there is no coming back unless you take the whole printer apart.

My first EcoTank Epson and overall I am pleased. Setup was a bit cumbersome. Biggest issue is no air print but that is my fault for not researching more before purchasing. I was able to print from my iPhone and iPad using the Smart Panel so all is good.

got one of these during covid and it completely broke a year later. only printed in black and white randomly after the color working fine, then took 1 hour to print one page and then just stopped doing anything.

This little, lightweight printer was just perfect for what I needed. It was setting it up and trying to find drivers and features (scan, e.g.) that made it very much a difficult product. It requires some real tech savvy to get this set up and working with the features. As far as print and scan quality, that was fine. It's the setting up and installing that prevents me from giving it any additional stars.

Worked for almost a year, printed 80 black pages and 120 color, the color tubes are still filled, black is 3/4 filled. No longer prints. The nozzle cleaner doesn't do anything.

Terrible color quality!! Not recommended for stickers!!

I bought this a month ago and I've been trying to print stickers. Even after messing with countless settings, the printer can't handle colors well. Red was coming out brown, now red is coming out too light and faded. The medium green color that I had on another sticker is coming out too dark. I know it's not a clog problem as my stickers were trash on day 1 and even after running clean cycles, they're still trash. I've wasted almost 25 pages of sticker paper and tons of regular paper. As soon as I ran a quick test print on someone else's Canon Pixma, even with LOW INK, my test print came out perfectly. I would like to get rid of this and run to Canon instead. It's incredibly frustrating how much time and money I've wasted.

Not compatible with Apple Airprint

Ordered based on good Consumer Reports reviews. I was a little worried about the install based on some of the reviews but my husband had no problem connecting it to our wi-fi network & then connecting to my work laptop. (Just had to switch the laptop off the 5G wi-fi to the regular one as the printer only works on 2.4) He said the ink was easy to fill & almost impossible to spill. Was able to print & it was decent. However the dealbreaker for me was that I couldn’t use AirPrint from my iPhone or iPad. You had to use the app (which also would have been fine) & download anything you want to print to your device. As I regularly print versions of google docs or other web-based pdfs, it was not feasible to have to download it regularly before I can even print. So back to Target it will go. So if printing from an apple device isn’t a big deal to you then this could be a good printer for you. Otherwise, pass on it & look for something else.

I have been happy with this printer I purchased for the most part. There are some things that could be different that would improve it. There is no digital display which I did not realize before I purchased it. If you want to change any settings or do anything with it you have to do it through the app on your phone. That is really inconvenient. It has been printing ok until recently, it now has lines running through anything I print. I've ran the print head cleaner and it still does the same thing. I'm not sure what causes that but it's pretty annoying.

I am ready to throw my printer in the trash. Bought it on October 22, 2023. I've printed a total of 70 black and white pages and 55 color pages, that's it. I have to have the printer clean the heads every time I want to use it and now it says I need yellow and cyan ink. I can't even see through these cloudy windows for the ink so I can see how high or low my ink is in the first place!! UGH!!! Waste of money

Just got this and it’s junk. We spent hours trying to figure out how to AirPrint and couldn’t get it to print. You have to jump through a bunch of flaming hoops to print with this no thx. It seems really cheaply made. DONT BUY THIS!

Buyer Beware.

I've had this printer for about 18 months and it often has ridiculous issues. Now it's just stopped working. It isn't overworked just the occasional print or scan. I've tried everything but the printer insists it is out of paper and will not print or copy. Not a paper jam and all of the settings are correct. I've updated the software etc. Nothing has worked. If you purchase this printer you may as well order a large bottle of aspirin. You'll need it.

Don’t buy! This printer is a total waste of money. Epson replaced this item for me in under 1 year. The replacement stopped working in a 1 1/2. The color ink doesn’t print.

Getting the run program off the enternet.

I brought it last week, just got it up and running Saturday the 29 of June because it was hard to get the download program off the enternet to hook up the printer to my computer. I tried everything I could think of but anything worked. But Saturday everything came together for me and my printer is hooked up to Wi-Fi also which I had not before Thank You. But I think you should put the run program in the box with the printers.
