A: Hi Onebbyg, The EcoTank ET-2400's ink tanks are empty when it is sold. It includes ink bottles to fill the tanks. Only prints using an app and your app must be kept open and displayed so if you’re printing from your phone and your phone just turns off the whole printing process just cancels. Wasted a bunch of paper and ink. You’re not able to multitask until the print is done.

I bought this printer about 4 months ago. I hate it. It prints page upon page of code whenever I try to print from my iPhone or Mac. I can't use it with my laptop, either. The tears and frustration I've encountered with this product because I wanted refillable tanks is heartbreaking to me.

This printer I was disappointed in, it took a long time to set up, it only printed from an app which means anyone else (guests) wouldn’t be able to print easily. Sadly I had to return it, as it didn’t fit my needs. I was so excited about it, it was a great concept but not what I was looking for. App was also very confusing.

Epson ecotank 2400 wireless printer. got this printer a couple weeks ago. have been wanting wireless for years. I already had an Epson. love it. this new printer installed easily and prints great. have to do a little workaround to get it to work from my cellphone but works great from my WiFi. glad I did it. FYI I'm 75 years old. if I can use it, anyone can.

This thing worked twice with it's Bluetooth connection and then stopped. It has printed maybe 20 pages, mostly black and white, and just decided to stop printing color. SUCH a waste of money. Don't buy!

Printer started making noises when printing and I brought it in December. Return window is closed. The printer prints dark and sometimes whites lines throughout the images. I ran a nozzle check and printer head cleaning so many times and still unsuccessful. I’ll try calling support if they can assist otherwise I will need a better printer

Hasd the product for 3 months and I got a few uses out of it. When I had to refill the cyan ink it wouldnt fill. The ink started to leak under the printer. This is so disappointing. Tried to find a way to remedy the issue with no luck and it sucks.

I owned a prior Epson XP440 which was OK (but NOT great) but the ink cost was atrocious. Thought I'd try this because of the inks. NOPE, not worth it. Worked for about a week, now wont reconnect to WiFi for any reason. It's the only device in my home that wont. Set up APP doesn't work. Flimsy plastic, just fail after fail on this one. EPSON should be ashamed. So should Target for carrying this. Total junk.

They gave me a used printer!!! Very upsetting! The ink was already inside the printer and not full either at that. Hand prints and scratches on the outside that clearly shows it was used. I needed this printer for my business and to find that it was used has now caused me to be delayed on important matters. Never again.

I purchased this to replace a WF-3620. Figured I could forego the document feeder and dual-sided printing for the ink features. What I wasn't expecting was the need to download an app so that I could print from my phone. Plus, I have to enable location services so I can print... in my own home on my own network. Print quality is decent, but the lack of features for the cost isn't worth it. To get similar features to my WF-3620, I would have had to get the ET-3850, which costs more than the ET-2400 and WF-3620, combined.

I bought this printer because it said it was Apple compatible. For the app it is but for my Macbook it is not! I've tried to install the software from Epson's website and it stops midway saying it cannot download due to an error. When I print out the report to see what the issue is, it says everything has passed and theres no issues. I still cannot download the software because it will not pass this problem on their software download. If you have a different type of laptop/computer, it might be different for you. But for all my Apple Macbook users, this printer is not the one. Will be returning!
