So Far So Good

I bought this 1 month ago, well made printer, with the exception of the display, it is to small. Great printout's, documents, photo's, greeting cards, envelopes. Fairly quite operation. Easy to set up. I haven't tried the fax yet. The printer is a little pricey, but it's either pay more for the ET and pay for the ink up front or a cheaper one and pay for the ink as you go. Print per page is a lot cheaper with the ET.

Love life without cartridges!

I have to say - I love the EcoTank printers. My brother got one a while back and was able to print GORGEOUS pictures with it. This one is even better than that due to the automatic document feeder. I've had this printer for about a week and I've mainly printed pictures with it with only one project involving normal paper. It's done really well, but some of the pictures have either come out too bright or too dark. Further testing is needed to determine if it is the system I am using (I used this printer to print with an iPad, iPhone, Samsung Galaxy s8+ & a Samsung Galaxy s10+), but my coworkers still said the pictures looked amazing when I brought them in to get opinions. What I liked best about this printer was the ease of use and set-up. The WiFi print worked better than another Epson printer I recently reviewed & all the pictures were really sharp. The project I used regular paper with was flawless & all items printed fairly quickly. I used the scanner to scan an original picture & it looks exactly like the original, just a tad bit lighter. What I didn't like was that with the Epson mobile app for both iPhone & android I wasn't able to have a whole lot of freedom or ease with printing pictures of different sizes on one page of paper - I would either have to print the same size as the paper or guess at the size by using the dragging tool and even when doing this, I couldn't add another picture and it would still print it in the middle of the page so I could not conserve my photo paper. Overall, this is the best printer I've ever had and I would definitely recommend it as the issues I have could be fixed with using different software. So User Friendly, Vibrant Colors & Incredibly Cost Efficient

My favorite thing about the Epson EcoTank Printer is how user friendly it is. The entire process of setting up this printer was so simple that I was able to do it with 2 children jumping around, begging for my attention in my home office with me. The ease of using the colorful touch screen (which is really a little Setup Wizard in itself) to connect to my Wi-Fi network, being able to see step-by-step instructions was awesome. It was great to not have to constantly refer back and forth to the paper manual and have the next steps pop up on the screen for me. It gave details on how to load paper, load the ink bottles and ensure that the printer is printing most accurately. If you made a mistake while setting up, it would give you a suggestion to move forward and try something different to fix it. The vibrancy of the ink is definitely excellent quality. Pictures look amazing and documents print great. Printing from a mobile device is very simple and straightforward. I definitely love that the ink bottles are very cost efficient, less waste, and can provide up to 2 years of printing. The only frustration to me personally was during the printer set up process. It took approximately 10 minutes (or it definitely seemed like it) and used about 5-7 pieces of paper to complete. It would print a page with several similar images and ask you to select the image that was incorrect, then print the next page, and next. Basically ensuring that the ink was printed accurately and correctly. The difference between the images shown were very difficult to see (I'm only 35) and I wonder if I was even selecting the correct images when answering. Kind of like being at the optometrist and they say 1, or 2 but you really don't see any difference at all. Although, I did really appreciate the accuracy and attention to detail the test seemed to encompass because the quality of the pages I have printed so far have been much better than my previous Epson Printer. This is definitely a minor thing to me, but just a bit frustrating. I definitely recommend this phenomenal Printer to anyone who has trouble setting up electronics, anyone who is a tech expert, anyone who likes being able to print high quality documents and images or anyone searching for a new printer. Only had it 2 days. Love it so far. Easiest set up I have had on a printer. Great improvement on ink tank filling. Touch screen pad could be a bit larger.

I have been looking at the eco tanks since they came out and drooling over them. As a homeschool mom and a business owner, they seemed like a sound investment. I always hesitated because I wasn’t sure if they lived up to their hype. Let me tell you - they do! From the sleek appearance and small (considering) footprint to the ease of use... this printer is perfect. It doesn’t take up much more room on my desk than my $50 HP printer, which is a great thing. It prints without shaking the desk or making too much noise. The ink was very easy to install and the instructions were perfect. I’ve printer several things out so far and I love how it tells you what it’s doing on the bright lcd screen that you can flip up and down for convenience. If you’re not sure how many pages you have left, there are clear indicators as well as being able to see the ink in the tank. There’s also a feature that allows you to print a status report type page that tells you how many color pages and how many black and white pages you’ve printed so far. All in all, the print quality is excellent. Every feature is easy to use and this has to be the simplest ink installation ever. I really love it and am so glad to use it for my everyday printing needs. Refillable Ink Tanks & Excellent Print Quality = A Great Buy

5 out of 5 stars

I do a lot of printing, and I typically spend a small fortune on ink throughout the year. I have tried refilling cartridges in the past but besides making a huge mess during the refilling process, the pages printed with the refilled ink were never of the same quality as those which were printed from the original ink cartridge. I've had similar issues when purchasing off-brand replacement cartridges as well and had relegated myself to buying tons of ink cartridges at premium prices to meet my printing needs. When I first found out that Epson had started their EcoTank line of printers with refillable ink tanks instead of cartridges, I knew I wanted one. The setup of the printer was incredibly fast, simple and straight forward. I wore rubber gloves to fill the ink tanks fully expecting ink to get all over my hands as it does just about every time I change the ink cartridges in my old printer but it proved unnecessary and surprisingly not one drop of ink was spilled thanks to the cleverly designed filling process that Epson has come up with for these printers. The bottles of ink come vacuum sealed and are uniquely keyed to only fit in the corresponding tank on the printer. I installed the drivers and printing software from Epson's website and then updated the printer's firmware before I started printing. First I printed several full-page color charts for a presentation that I was giving the next day. The print quality was excellent and the fast speed at which they printed was impressive. The printer is a bit loud when it's printing but not noticeably louder than either of the other printers we have in our home and it does have a quiet mode setting which reduces the noise it makes however it also slows down the print speed quite a bit so keep that in mind should you choose to enable this option. Next, I installed the Epson app on my phone and printed some coupons which printed quickly and were of equally good quality. Next, I decided to print a 5x7 photo of my Dad holding my new niece and although I seldom print pictures from home I was quite pleased with how great this print came out. We have both iPhone and Android users in our home and it is compatible with both. I have successfully printed from our computer, my Samsung smartphone, a Samsung Tab A, an iPad, and a Kindle fire without any issue. It also features a scanner/copier with an automatic document feeder and fax capabilities making it an excellent choice for small business owners. I no longer have to spend a small fortune on ink cartridges which will only end up in the landfill after they are empty, and that alone makes it a keeper as far as I am concerned but with its excellent print quality, fast print speed, and compatibility with both Android and IOS smart devices it is an excellent choice for almost anyone. This is a review for the Epson EcoTank ET-4760 All-In-One SuperTank Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.
