Description

Esembly reusable cloth diapers are made up of two parts: an absorbent Inner and a waterproof Outer (sold separately). Esembly Inners are made of super soft and thirsty certified organic cotton. Inners are designed with a unique butterfly shaped core to maximize absorbency while still allowing water and detergent to access all layers of the diaper for a deep and thorough cleaning and efficient drying.

Esembly Inners come in two sizes and are made to grow with your baby. The waist snaps allow for adjustments to accommodate expanding bellies, while the rippled core and stretchy elastic at the legs will expand as your babe gets taller. Inners are designed to be worn with an Esembly Outer (sold separately) for waterproofing and containment.

Here’s how it works:
• Put a fresh Inner on your baby at each change.
• Cover the Inner with a waterproof Outer to make a complete diaper.
• Change your baby every 2-3 hours, or immediately if poop is detected.
• To accommodate long nighttime sleep stretches, boost the absorbency of your diaper with an Overnighter (sold separately).
• When soiled, set aside in the Day Bag or Pail Pouch until laundry day.

If cloth diapering full-time, you’ll want to have 24 Inners and 6 Outers. Inners require laundering after each use, whereas Outers can be used multiple times before washing.

Launder your Inners and Outers every 2-3 days using Esembly Washing Powder (or similar clean-rinsing detergent) as per Esembly’s super-simple, step-by-step wash instructions.

Q: how many come in a package?

submitted by cloth diappers - 2 years ago
  • A: Our Inners are sold as singles. One per package. Thank you!

Q: Is it 100% organic cotton or a blend of organic and non organic cotton?

submitted by Sg - 2 years ago
  • A: Thanks for reaching out! Our Inners are 100% organic cotton (except for the snaps, of course).

Q: Can these be used with other brand covers (i.e., not using Esembly's "outers")

submitted by Jenibelle - 2 years ago
  • A: Yes! Our Inners can be used with other diaper covers as long as the diaper cover you’re choosing is universal (and not one that’s designed only to fit its own inserts). Hope that’s helpful!

Glad We Chose Esembly

Esembly makes cloth diapering so easy. The cloth is soft and absorbent (make sure you wash them twice before using, per instructions). We used the Esembly powder laundry detergent and it worked perfectly. If there were ever any stains after laundering, we just set them out in the sun to dry and it naturally “bleached” the stains right out and made the cloth bright white. We still used disposables over night (we had a big baby who was deemed a “heavy wetter” because he drank so much) just because they wouldn’t need to be changed as frequently. But we’re so happy that we decided to cloth diaper and love the Esembly brand. We will be using our same diaper stash for the next baby.

Best cloth diapers, as easy as disposables

These diapers were as easy as using disposables. I was a little hesitant at first because it seemed overwhelming and like it would be so much more work, but these cloth diapers are great! We used these until my son reached the weight limit and we only ever had leakage one time. ONCE! I recommend this brand to any parent looking for an alternative to disposables. The washing process was also so much easier than I anticipated. I watched the video provided on how to launder the diapers and did exactly what it said (I used Seventh Generation Free and Clear instead of the Esembly detergent). If there were any stains, I just laid the diapers in the sun and they were back to brand new in hours.

Amazing After Baby Hit 2 Months

5 out of 5 stars
pregnanttargetlady - 2 years ago, Verified purchaser
The Diapers Were Terrible From Birth Until About Week 8. My Baby Was Born 8lbs And By Month 2 He Was 12lbs So I Used Size One. I Tried Everything I Even Went On Their Website For Tips And Contacted Essembly Via Social Media And Asked Other Essembly Moms For Tips And They Always Leaked! Always! Then My Baby Hit 2 Months And The Leaking Stopped. Idk If My Baby Was To Skinny For Them But Once He Had More Weight They Were Perfection. I Didnt Have To Do Anything Extra Or Adjust Them Or Pull The Ruffles Out. They Just Started Working At Month 2. They Are Blowout Proof! I Also Love That They Contain Blowouts And Per Much Better Than The High End Disposables. I Will Mention I Use And Extra Cloth Insert And Im Not Comfortable Using These At Night. We Use Disposables At Night. The Cotton Is buttery Soft After A Few Hot Washes And They Are Easy To Clean. I Should Mention That They Take A Little Longer To Dry Than My Other Diapers And I Have To Roll Them So They Dont Bunch Up And Lay Flat Because A Bunchy Inner Is Annoying To Put On A Squirmy Baby. Functionally There Are Other Options That Are Just As Good Like ALVABABY (My Baby Never Leaked with Those Diapers), Which Is Also A More Cost Effective Alternative, But Aestheticly They Are The Best. Ill Be Buying Size 2 Soon.

Being able to avoid tossing 12+ plastic diapers in the garbage EVERY DAY was something that I was really worried about when deciding how to diaper my babe. I love that these are organic cotton and I will be able to use them over and over again!

This works like a charm, and prevents blowouts too. It's also just so quality -- it's probably the nicest place my kid will poop for the entire rest of their life.

What can I say, these organic diapers are insanely absorbent, leak-proof and so trim. I barely notice a difference in bulk comapred to disposables. I only started with 4 cause I wasn;t sure how much I'd like them and after a few weeks I came back for 20 more and now they are what we use full time. The Esembly Outers are equally as amazing!

Esembly makes it so easy

5 out of 5 stars
Rene - 2 years ago, Verified purchaser
Before having our son, my husband and I discussed cloth diapers. We were interested but never bought anything because as we prepared for our first child we were a little overwhelmed by all the choices. A few months after our son was born we returned to the cloth diapering conversation. I admitted to my husband that I wasn't sure I wanted to do it because it seemed like too complicated and a lot of extra work for me. We had a version of a different cloth diaper that was gifted to us and I really wasn't into it. Plus cloth diapering is a big investment for something you're unsure you're going to like. But we ultimately decided to give it a try. Then as I was searching Target I found Esembly's Try-It pack. Ding-ding-ding! This sounded perfect and spoke exactly to what I was looking for! So we ordered the kit and after just a few days we were both on board. I love the Esembly system. I love how easy they make it. Its more affordable than other cloth diaper systems and their website is so helpful. Esembly made me feel like I could handle the task of cloth diapering. I am so happy we stumble upon them and they will be the only brand of cloth diapers I recommend. We will absolutely be purchasing more when my son goes up a size and keep them around for our future kiddos that follow.

Highly recommend. Never had a leak or a blow out sneak out of the ruffles. Snaps are wonderful. Changes finish in less than 2 mins. Esembly has nailed it. Planet saving is immense when we use these for second kid. Way cheaper than disposables and way better quality. No brainer to use these.

We’ve been using Esembly diapers since our baby was 3 weeks old. She’s now 7 months old, on the edge of needing size 2, and we are still just as much in love as we ever have been. No blowouts (seriously, read that again, NONE). So soft. So cute. Easy to clean using Esembly system (which also has the absolute best laundry detergent PERIOD). I know this may sound too good to be true, but I promise you it is not! If you are looking for the best cloth diapering system around, you have found it!!

Cloth diapering with Esembly is a breeze. I was very skeptical about cloth diapering and decided to go with it to save money and reduce waste. We have yet to have a blowout diaper and laundry with this brand is truly so easy (and we have old machines). I'd absolutely recommend this system and I haven't felt overwhelmed by the cleanup or use, even when traveling. The investment has already paid for itself with the cost of disposables.

I have been using this brand of diapers for about five months now. Pros: Basically leak proof. Not one true blow out in them. If it leaks through the inner layer it will be caught by the outer diaper. So this is basically worth it. Cons: They are totally cotton and stay wet on the babies bottoms. Not microfiber or whatever that feels somewhat dry to the touch. This also makes drying them take forever in the wash.

I am so excited that Target now offers a non-disposable and reusable diaper option (and will hopefully have these available for purchase in stores soon too???)! These diaper inners are so soft and easy to care for. The simple instructions and high quality design are what drew me to Esembly’s range of diaper products. I cannot wait to diaper my baby in these when she is born in a few weeks.

Using these cloth diapers has saved a ton of money which is really great. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that these fit my 10 month old perfectly. All the different buttons make adjusting them to fit so easy. The buttons hold up the whole time she's wearing them. They are absorbent it takes a few hours for them to soak through, I'm happy with them.

We love the Esembly diaper system, and have used it since our son came home from the hospital. With cloth diapers you trade trips to the store to buy diapers and storing boxes of disposables for 2-3 loads of laundry each week. Once you get into the routine it’s so easy. No leaking or blowouts for us. And the outers are so cute we used them as “pants” all summer and coordinated his tops with his outers. The laundry is so easy, just turn the wet bag inside out in your washing machine and start the load. If you’re worried about it being gross, I think it’s a lot less gross than taking poopy diapers out to the trash a few times a week.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These reusable diapers are so easy to use at home. Not something I’d use when out or at day care. The inner part of the diaper works perfectly with their putter covers and are heavy duty! We have not had any accidents at all!! Makes me feel that I’m doing my part in helping save the earth! Would recommend to any parents looking for a little eco conscious diaper usage.
