I’m on day 8 and just now starting to see a few small chips (this is after a full week of mom life which you know is hard on the nails!) It’s obviously not as hardy as true UV cured gel but it’s the best traditional polish I’ve ever used. So much easier on your nails than the gel process too! Dries quickly & with a beautiful finish. I’ll be back for every color 😝

As an ER nurse my hands see A LOT. I decided I needed to wear polish at work because my natural nails were breaking during every shift. This nail polish is AMAZING!! It has a rubber/elastic consistency and doesn’t chip and crumble into tiny pieces like regular nail polish. It can last 2+ weeks and is easily removable with natural nail polish remover. I use 2 coats of color + 1 top coat. Let each layer dry completely. Give one bottle a try, you won’t be sorry!! :)) *shade -- matter of fiction

Absolutely love this color! I was looking a white that didn’t come across as the old whiteout color. ;) It looks light pink on line and when you get the bottle, but on your nails it’s the perfect shade of slightly off-white. A definite must have!

I bought the color 'Model Clicks' and I like it, I thought it was a bit darker when I saw it in-person at Target. Its a very deep vibrant purple red. It's nice and no complaints. Three stars because for the price it does not live up to other Gel brands I've used. I think it was peeling already on day 2. It didn't just start wearning around the edges of my nails but the polish actually got nicked in places in the middle of my nail. Not good stuff. I might actually return (if I remember) just because the price was high for such a disappointment.

Best long-lasting nail polish I’ve used! I hate painting my nails because I’m a busy mama of 4 little ones. Usually the paint chips within 24 hours - not this! I did purchase the top coat but I haven’t used it every time. I have made it 5-7 days before it chips depending on how many layers I did and if I did the top coat or not.

The shade was beautiful & went on like a dream, but my main purpose in the purchase of this polish was hopes of the staying power. Sadly, it was so disappointing. I used two coats followed by two coats of the Essie gel couture top coat. By the end of the 3rd day there was significant wear. I returned the polish.

Absolutely love Essie Gel polishes! I own several colors of this and they are all great. Although it says you don’t need to use a base coat I still use Essie’s stay strong base coat to avoid any nail staining and for general strengthening. I’ll use that or Sally Hansens Maximum Growth as my base and both work great with this polish. It always dries quickly and lasts so long!! All you need are 2 coats max and the gel top coat. I have other polishes with glitter and it’s a very noticeable difference when I use the gel top coat it looks great!! All in all I absolutely love this and highly recommend!! Can’t wait for more colors to come out!

So I really want to like Essie gel polish but it’s just…not great. The colors are cute and apply easily but I find that some of them go on super chunky and streaky and don’t look good! On top of that, the “gel” top coat just looks like a normal top coat, doesn’t give it any extra shine or durability. The most annoying thing about Essie gel polish is that every time, within 2 days or so the polish seems to crack on my nails? And I don’t mean chip, there will literally be cracks in the polish without a single chip in my nails, it’s so weird. Ultimately I end up with chips within a few days so for the price point, it’s just not worth it for me.
