I am pleasantly surprised with this polish. It has lasted for 7 days with little chipping, so I think I can get a few days more out of it. I filed the top of my nails, washed my hands and then applied a bast coat, 2 coats of color and 2 coats of a top coat by a cheaper brand. This is my normal routine when I paint my nails. I purchased the color closing night and my only issue is that the online photo makes it look like it’s very glittery but it isn’t. I love that I can just take it off at home. I’ve ordered 2 more colors.
I’m really disappointed in this nail polish. I wanted to try it because of all the great reviews. It lasted a day before several nails chipped. I decided to give it another try and re do them but the same thing happened.

Hi there Sabrina! We wish you were able to see the results you were hoping for with the the gel couture nail enamel. Applied with gel couture top coat, the gel couture nail colors should last well over a week. Be sure the nail bed is free of any soap or oil residue, Skip water and make sure the nail bed is dry and clean. Use your polish remover before your mani to make sure the nail bed is squeaky clean. Love it!! I rarely get bright colors or stay in the pastel zone but i believe i made a good choice with this color (bubbles only) Its so pretty, one coat might be good enough but two to be safe. Dries at a pretty decent rate. I would say cleaning up the edges is a mess though
I ordered “once upon a time.” Supposed to be a light/lilac purple color according to the photos on the website. However, it is more on the gray scale. See photos.
LOVE the rounded brush, as it makes applying super easy and doesn’t get all over the cuticles.
I wanted a durable nail polish with minimal chipping, and I got it with Essie gel couture. I bought the color 'Matter of Fiction' which is a very light pastel pink. I was afraid it would be too light but it's just perfect for me. As someone who is pale, it makes me look a little bit tan. I also bought the top coat. The following are my pros & cons:
-Durable, lasted about a week with minimal chipping (although there was some, but my nail polish always seems to chip)
-Dries pretty fast
-Can be clumpy (uneven thickness on nail because it collects in one area)
-Took 3 coats of color to achieve opaque-look
-Expensive compared to other nail color
