Stained and defective. It had tiny pink stains on it, brown staining and discoloration on the sides (although I should note the legs would cover up most of it). And sadly, the chair was defective and one of the screw holes was plugged and there was no way to get a screw into it. Overall, not what I was expecting based on the price and other reviews.

When I read the reviews, I had some concerns to purchase this item. But I loved hiw it looks and anyways I bought it. And I’m so happy that I bought it. If you use the chair with a pouf, its really way too comfy. I recommend it. It was easy to assemble. I did it in 10-15 min. It looks really nice. I hope I can use it long years.

We’ve had this rocking chair for a little over three years and it has held up really well! We don’t use it often (it’s mostly an accent chair), but I did recently wash it with my portable upholstery cleaner. It’s had tons of spills on it (kids) and cleans up well. I purchased mine in-store and didn’t have to assemble it. My biggest peeve is that it constantly moves backward when people are using it. Every time you get up from the chair, it pushes itself backward. I did rock my son in it when he was a baby and I found it comfortable enough, but the back of the chair is low so don’t expect to rest your head without a pillow.

Good for a nursery. Similar view points of the other reviews… not terribly uncomfortable but adding a pillow makes it a lot better.. over priced for the quality. It it low to the ground, but makes it great for kids as well. I don’t have any issues with the sound like other reviews.

The wood color is completely different than the picture. I was looking for a light, oak wood to match a nursery, just like shown in the pictures, but I received a dark wood. Super disappointed since it’s a heavy item to return to the store. Sad they couldn’t have a more accurate color of the wood.

This chair gets dirty and worn looking FAST. Even after steam cleaning it, it still looked terrible. Also, the seat cushion lacks quality support. When you sit down it feels like a pop, like a metal jar (I am 115lbs). I would not buy again.

Not a quality chair but you get the temporary decor. the material is a cheap but gets the purpose for decor done. also it was a pain to put together even with keeping bolts looose! The chair sits very low so if your short go for it taller than 5’0 you will hate it. Honestly with the price could have gotten a better rocker or glider for my nursery.

I wasn’t sure about buying this based on the bad reviews, but I decided to go for it when a sale hit. This chair is super cute! It wasn’t hard to put together, and it doesn’t crinkle or squeak like some other reviews said. The Sherpa looks really good in our bedroom. I docked one star because it’s not the coziest chair - the cushion is rather stiff and the back is pretty low. It doesn’t bother me, and I got it for my own personal use. It does have a funky smell, but what doesn’t these days. It’s not overwhelming & I can tell it’ll fade fast. I’m looking forward to hanging out in my new reading chair.

$320 is simply not going to buy you a quality piece of furniture. Even with Target's scale of economy in manufacture sourcing, it simply can't be done. I understand people's desire to have nice looking things, and their budget may just not allow for high end decorating, but one shouldn't be surprised when this chairs quality doesn't match it's decent looks. "If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't."

This chair is OK. However you guys it is not worth $330.00 plus another $100 in shipping. It is worth about $200.00. It is smaller than it appears. I don't have anything bad to say about it other than it just isn't worth the money.

This rocking chair is better than imagined. After reading some reviews I was a little worried but for me assembling the chair was easy- remember to keep bolts loose as instructed until the finish when you tighten all of the bolts. I have absolutely no crinkly noise issue or any noise at all for that matter. The quality is great and inviting. The size is perfect for me and the corner I’ve placed it in. I wished I had a spot for a 2nd one of these.

This chair was not awful to assemble, the look is very trendy . On to the not so good part... Too low profile for adult . Not very comfy and the worst is this awful crackling sound from the back seat when you rock . Not conducive to putting a baby to sleep nicely. Would not recommend for that reason .

Not made for a nursery. Although I still have and use it for mine - there is no head support and you definitely need pillows on the side if you’re planning to rock a baby in it since the wood rails aren’t ideal to rest your arm on. The one positive about the lack of head support is you can’t get too comfy for those 2 am feedings so you likely won’t fall asleep while cradling your infant. I still like it and plan to move it to our living room once I don’t need a nursery rocker anymore, but eh..probably should have purchased an actual rocking chair. I don’t have the creeky noise that other reviews complain about, but when I stand up to get out of it, the cushion makes a bit of a noise. Also, it’s pretty low to the ground so my husband finds it hard to stand up out of it with the baby in his arms.
