submitted byThkanagas - 6 years agoA: Yes, there is a battery backup requiring 2 AAA batteries
submitted bytkrembos - 6 years agoA: Although it has a place to put two AAA batteries, it will not work without being plugged in. So that's pointless.

Q: Do the numbers stay lit at night, or do you have to push a button to turn them on?
A: If the brightness is a problem at night for you like it was for us (even with the three brightness levels), don't be afraid to take a razor blade and pry up the front corners (using credit cards to keep it apart) and pull the front piece off. It is simply double sided tape holding it on. Then cut one or two strips of paper (~50mm x ~155mm) and place them in front of the digits. Enjoy!
submitted byAustin - 5 years agoA: They stay lit. It's very bright and you must manually choose between three brightness settings.
submitted bySmilingJudy - 7 years agoA: Numbers stay lit all night (though there are three setting for bright, medium, and dim)
submitted bytkrembos - 6 years agoA: Yes they stay lit. You can change the brightness of the numbers

Q: I bought it on this Jan. A few days ago, I found one line of the screen(the hour part) has been broken. How can I fix this problem?
A: I would contact Capello (the maker of the clock) or Target to see if there may be a warranty. (This section is typically for customer question and answer - you'd have to contact Target directly for them to repond)
submitted bytkrembos - 6 years agoA: Return it to the store

Q: How do I set an alarm?
A: To set an alarm, you hold down the alarm clock button, wait for the number to flast, use the + and - buttons to set your correct time, and then hit the alarm clock button again when you're done. There should be a small like next to an alarm clock image in the bottom left corner signifying the alarm has been turned on.
submitted bytkrembos - 6 years agoA: Just hold down the alarm button on the top and as the digits flash, use the + or - buttons to change your desired time.
