Q: How long does it take to complete? Is it messy to do? I am thinking of giving it for a gift for a 10 year boy.

A: The project takes about 1 to 2 hours. The casting material comes in a bag that you use to mix the plaster. Just add water to the bag mix and pour. No mess!
