Really wish there was more for Luce & Daniel's story.

Seeing as this entire series is based around the love story of Luce & Daniel, I was really surprised that the majority of this novella was taken up by the alternative "side" characters. I really would have liked to have more of Daniel & Luce. While I did enjoy the book as a whole, there obviously was some pros and cons. I wasn't a fan of Arriane's story because it was in my opinion aggressive and it ended depressingly. Roland's story was alright. I liked that even though he couldn't get the girl, he made a wise choice to help her in the end with helping to keep her new family safe from impending war. Shelby and Miles' story was cute but it really didn't dive into much. I would have preferred some sort of wrap up or conclusion for their story. All in all I still liked it and glad I picked it up. I would recommend it.
