Delicious cornbread muffins. Just like the restaurant’s!

Let me tell you something… these are delicious. I’m supposed to be on a diet but had to make these before they expired… and it’s going to be a struggle to not eat them all in one sitting. I stirred in some corn because I love corn in cornbread. Will buy again once I don’t have to be skinny anymore. They are sweet, so let’s be clear about that, but I LOVE this mix.

As usual because of packing with heavy items. Can't rate the item but the packing is horrible. Cannot use.

Best boxed cornbread!

This is my go-to cornbread “recipe”, never fails. I live at altitude so I follow the extra flour instructions (4 tbsp), and I also add a half cup of either fire-roasted corn or regular corn (canned or fresh) with a bit of green chiles. I double the recipe with two boxes so that I use a 9x13 inch pan. I also melt 2-3 tbsp of butter and drizzle on top before baking. I don’t find this to be as sweet as others have mentioned and maybe because of the addition of extra flour due to altitude or because of adding corn and chiles?

Warning, this is not a savory cornbread! This is a sweet corn muffin/cake mix. It is good if that’s what you’re wanting, but if you’re looking to make cornbread dressing this is not for you. I wish I would have read reviews or the package could have said said “sweet cornbread”. Maybe I should have read the ingredients list…with sugar listed first I should have known…so this is really on me. Anyway, be informed on what you’re buying.

I bring this cornbread to gatherings and parties. I always get compliments. The honey glaze recipe on the side of the box is a must!

Easy preparation but 2 eggs work better in this recipe.

Been getting this for years. Have tried Krusteaz and Marie Calendars - Famous Dave's is the best. Great cornmeal flavor, lightly sweet, and wonderful texture.

Texture is there, but I will not repurchase. This mix is way too sweet. I had to throw it out.

Dislike cooking instructions! Don’t bake the muffins for as long as they say! They will burn! Like flavor and texture. Despite ours being over baked, the flavor was excellent and they were still moist muffins! I would highly recommend these.

Pretty good for a box mix

It was corn cake. I was hoping for a savoury corn bread and this was the only available option. But it was not good to us at all. Oh well. Smells and tastes like cake.

We like to keep no additive foods in our house. This is loaded with them but tastes so much more superior to other options, that we overlook it! ;)

Love the flavor. Best cornbread recipe and super easy to make. I add be sweet n low when I want a sweeter flavor.

The cornbread doesn't even taste as close to the restaurants cornbread. I ended up tossing out the muffins because they were way too sweet.

This sweet cornbread is a winner. My family loves it, I’m never without it in my pantry.
