Love this block! The edges of the hole for the scissors needed a bit sanding, but otherwise they're great knives. They have a bunch a reminders to wash and dry the knives immediately after use. I'm really happy with this buy, I think they knives are great quality, especially for the price.
Sharpest knives I have had. It xomes with a lot of different knives a solid woild knife holder and a knife sharpener. Oh how i love this set. Effortlessly cut down roast. Becareful washing dishes because it is sharp barely touched it and got cut. Its very strong . It is close to the knives I got offline for $100 for just one
This knife block set is a solid set for a mid-range at home cook. The set has a nice sleek look that should fit well in most kitchen designs. The knives are more weighty and solid-feeling than your everyday cheap knife set. They cut well and wash well. Some may be turned off to the hand wash only aspect, but it's just a matter of how long you want your knives to last and stay nice. There is a great assortment of knives here, you should have one for just about any situation you run into. I like that there are 6 steak knives, many sets only have 4, so this is a nice bonus for bigger families! The shears are good quality and handle meat pretty flawlessly. I like that this set comes with a sharpening steel. It seems to work well and should make the set last longer and perform better and for longer. The only issue I've had with this set is with the block. The knives don't like to slide easily in and out, sometimes you have to wiggle a bit to get the knife seated properly. I have seen some bad reviews due to the knives rusting, but have had no issues with this myself thus far.
