Too Hot to Handle - 2 years ago, Verified purchaser
Very disappointed due to safety concern. The handle absorbs heat that makes it extremely hot to the touch and am concerned if I do not remember to use a pot holder, I will badly burn my hand. I plan on returning the skillet

Dear Valued Consumer, Thank you for your feedback. While all handles can get hot regardless of the material used in the handle (depending on the heat settings used) we have not had very many complaints about the handles being too hot to handle on this line (it will mainly be a question of personal preference). However, it is important to note that everyone will have a different sensitivities and tolerances for heat. With any handle material, we do state that it is recommended to use pot holders as a precaution. We hope this information is helpful.

Was impressed with quality when I opened the package but soon after, as I was ready to use this fry pan, I found a scratch (my finger could feel it) into the coating layer. I could not determine what caused it. I'm not sure how this occurred or how it will effect it's use!! I have used it once without any problem. The scratch is present but doesn't seem to have any negative effect on the food.

Light, non-stick, easy to clean. I usually buy an 8" fry pan every 2 years. This one may last longer. I love Farberware.
