A great introduction to riding in style for brand new riders, the 16-inch, single-speed mini Handlebar Bella kids' cruiser Beach Cruiser Bicycle from Firmstrong is ideal for children just learning to ride. It features 16-inch wheels, front and rear fenders, and removable training wheels. The coaster brake stops by pedaling backwards, which is an easy and safe way for children to learn to ride. Sized for young riders from 2 feet, 10-inches to 3 feet, 8-inches tall, the mini Handlebar Bella is perfect for relaxed riding around the neighborhood, by the beach, or anywhere else on a paved path. The mini Handlebar Bella is designed just like Firmstrong's Beach Cruiser Bicycles for older riders with a classic, curvy cruiser design and a 9-inch durable steel frame. The 16-inch aluminum wheels feature 2.125-inch wide white-wall tires that roll smooth and easy as well as cushion the bumps as you ride over them freely. The wide, oversized seat completes your comfort with dual springs that help make the ride soft and cushy. Both the seat and the handlebars can be adjusted for height and tilt to properly fit the rider. It also features a guard to protect pant cuffs from getting caught in the chain and wide cruiser Beach Cruiser Bicycle handlebars with high-density foam grips. The Beach Cruiser Bicycle is shipped 80 percent assembled. Firmstrong has been designing high quality, affordable Beach Cruiser Bicycles for over 10 years with a focus on blending style and functionality to create a fun, adventurous experience for riders -- not just a mode of transportation.
Finally a bike my small for her age 9 year old can peddle. She refused to let us put the training wheels on. We took her to the park where there are concrete paths & plenty of room & within a few minutes she was off riding on her own. The bike is really pretty too! Only negative is tha she will probably outgrow it by next year & for the price I paid, I wish it could have last her longer I Hope's the manufacturer will make one just like this in the 18 inch wheel.
WHat a beautiful first bike my daughter couldn't be more delighted!! It came in great condition with all the parts, straightforward assembly , sturdy , dynamic and great fit for a 4 yo little girl. Very pleased with the purchase.
The bike is really nice, the construction quality and looks is definitely there. Due to issues below, I would expect something better given the price tag. Be wary of the instruction manual. It is the most worthless manual I've ever used, I don;t think it was really designed for this bike but more for their other models. Their descriptions of the parts and work they ask you to do does not match with the actual product. For example they are asking you to use Allen wrenches and there is not a single component on the bike that utilized it. There are spelling errors... 'kingstand' instead of kickstand was hilarious. The fenders, both front and back were impossible to secure. Each has a U-shaped metal rode that you're supposed to attach to the frame to keep the fender firm and not rubbing against the tire but there was nothing in the instructions on what to do, you just kinda eye it and figure it out. And when you figure it out, actually 'doing' it was impossible due to the extreme stiffness of the metal rod and the placement of the area on the frame that you are meant to attach to. The back one you have a shot with, I only got 1 side secured but I couldn't get the other side secure. The front fender's rod wouldn't even reach the area to attach against. End of the day, I took both off, the bike looked good without them.
